A very unique kind of food & experience. The owner was also gracious enough to treat us to some Fata Bilmoze & chai adani which were both unreal & very tasty. Highly recommend!!View more
Family owned restaurant. Friendly staff & welcoming. We tried their chicken & lamb mazbi. We also tried their new mandi rice.
All were 10/10, really delicious & flavourful! Will definitely come back again!View more
The mazbi chicken was amazing , however the lamb mandi wasn't as goodView more
Really loved the flavor of the Mazbi Lamb it was my favorite. The Mandi chicken was very tender & fell off of the bone. The rice was super flavorful & overall everything was perfect for lunch.View more
A modest Middle Eastern restaurant, specialized in Yemeni cuisine. We had chicken & lamb mazbi: the lams was good, but the two very thin slices of meat. The chicken was almost burnt & was not good at all. The service & atmosphere are both very basic. The quality /price ratio is high for what you get as food & service : $70 (including tip) was too high actually for what we had. Overall experience: it was just "OK" & nothing special & we won't go back againView more
I had an amazing experience. The vibes are great & the food too. Super delicious. We tried the mazbi chicken & mazbi lamb; both were so good. The owners are welcoming & super friendly. Must visit!View more
I appreciated the tenderness of the lamb, but overall, this experience was disappointing. The bread served was not the right type for Fahsa, & providing only a small portion for the entire dish was inappropriate. The rice was overly spiced, overwhelming the flavor, & the prices were far too high for the quality offered. The presentation & the dishware were quite underwhelming. I was excited to find a Yemeni restaurant in Montreal, but I left wishing I hadn't visited. That said, the service was friendly.View more
Delicious food, polite service, we found exactly what we were looking for. Place was clean , I recommend the lamb broth before meal & the chai tea with milk after.View more
Amaaaazing restaurant !! The food was delicious, portions are really good 🤩 we tried the lamb, beef & chicken & I preferred the lamb that was so moist & the beef. I recommend it 200%View more
Visiting from Toronto, & wanted to try this restaurant. Ordered the lamb mandi & lamb mazbi. Both were really delicious! The owner was very friendly & we had a great conversation about food & Toronto.View more
I am visiting from western Canada & been trying many food places here in Montreal. Hands down the best middle eastern food I have tried here. I tried the Maraq, samosa, chicken & lamb mazbi & everything was spot on. They were very hospitable & were very welcoming. there was music & friendly vibes. Definitely recommendView more
The lamb is so good & the cheese sambosas are perfectView more

Don't forget to try their dessert ( Fata with dates & the kunafa & the chai Adani) it is the best . Thank you Mazbi Team I will definitely come backView more
Best Yemeni Restaurant I have been to... I highly recommend the Mazbi chicken & lamb mandi. The service was very good The tee was delicious, I liked the decoration Good prices as well Definitely must try!View more
Great Yemeni restaurant! I highly recommend the mazbi chicken & lamb mandi. The masoub was also excellent. The service was a bit slow, & the tea was cold. I wish the chicken had been fresher, but the lamb was excellent. Definitely recommended!View more
Mazbi Restaurant offers a taste of Yemeni tradition right in the heart of Montreal. As someone from Djibouti, Mazbi's authentic flavors remind me of home. Their lamb is simply exceptional, cooked to perfection with spices that transport you to Yemen itself. The traditional Yemeni tea served after the meal is the perfect ending to a delightful culinary journey. Mazbi Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a true taste of Yemeni cuisine in Montreal.View more
Last minute visit to Montreal to see the eclipse & found this restaurant after visiting friends. The restaurant was packed however they found a table for us within a few minutes (they ask that you come back at the time they specify so you don't hover over the people who are eating which I appreciate)..Lamb mandi & foul were very good. Some of the best tasting Yemeni rice I have had & the meat was very flavourful & tender. Not sure if the bread is authentic. Chai was a lovely warm hug & the cheese kunafe was nice.View more
Excellent first experience with Yemini food, dishes are generous & flavourful. Will be coming back for the Lamb Mandi again!!View more
My first Yemini restaurant & it's such a beautiful & cozy venue with great ethnic decor! We started off with wheat soup & Sambosa & then for the main meal my friends & I had the Mandi Lamb as well as Mandi Chicken :) The food was so delicious & the staff was also super kind & nice & always inquired about our food. Post meal we had the tea & ordered the Fata bil Mowz & we all truly loved it ! It was a perfect blend of unique bread with cream, dates, & cheese ! Cannot wait to come & try other items on the menu in this wonderful restaurant !View more
I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, & I'm so glad I did! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of authentic Yemeni spices transported me to another world. The ambiance was cozy & inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I had the Mazbi lamb & Mandi lamb, both were incredibly tender & packed with mouthwatering flavor that left me craving more with every bite. The portions were generous, ensuring no one leaves hungry. But what really stood out was the hospitality. The staff treated us like family, going above & beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu & eager to recommend their favorites. Overall, this Yemeni restaurant exceeded all my expectations. If you're craving authentic Middle Yemeni cuisine served with warmth & hospitality, look no further. I can't wait to return & try more dishes from their delicious menu!View more
Really loved the food we had here (wasn't a fan of the cheese sambosa but that is personal taste.) The lamb was amazing, & I highly recommend upgrading your rice with the cripsy onion, almonds & raisins. It's incredible.View more
The food was very fresh & delicious! The atmosphere was also very vibrant, comforting, & homely. We had the lamb & chicken mazbi, khobz, sambosas, & the lamb broth (my fiancee INHALED it so fast!). Everything was so flavourful!View more
We came to the restaurant as a large group of 14. The service was fantastic & super friendly. Our orders were taken efficiently while being mindful of how the bills were being split up. The appetizers were good, the soup broth was tasty. The main dishes were amazing. Very tasty & an adequate amount. The lamb was super tender & truly fall of the bone. We tried the desserts & they were different but still amazing. Overall, I really enjoyed the food & the friendliness was next level.View more
First time trying Yemeni food & we were not disappointed. We were a big group so we made a reservation & they accommodated our 12 ppl party. I tried their Marag soup made of simple lamb broth. Very simple broth yet layered with flavors of lamb marrow & other earthy spices. Perfect balance of flavors. I then tried the mixed samosas appetizers. I love that they are done in the traditional Arab way using filo pastry. Delicious! The main dishes for us were Chicken mogalgal & mandi lamb. So yummy & rich with spices. Ask for the rice to come with fried onions. You can skip the bread which tasted like naan. The two dishes were best eaten with their rice. We had their Fetta with dates. An interesting hearty dessert that I would love to have for breakfast. The atmosphere is very simple & practical. Not for special occasions but for a more casual crowd. The service was excellent. Very attentive & the food arrived fast even though we were a large group.View more
Greattt food! Especially great place for a small group where you're keen to share. All the meat was amazing. The lamb, chicken, & beef. The rice is very flavourful & the bread is deliciousss !! The cheese sambosas were also amazing. Great vegan options, too. The staff & soo nice & happy to give recommendations. We ordered a sharing platter of 3 meats & asked the waiter to pick, which worked out great. The kunafah dessert is a must-get!!! The dessert with cream & cheese on top was not as good. Great casual vibe. We called ahead & got a really nice window table reserved.View more
Good customer service. I had the Mandi Lamb & rice meal, & it was very delicious. Thank you,View more
This place is DELICIOUS!! We got the mix of Mandi lamb & Mazdi Chicken with fried onions & fried almonds (great for two). The owners are Yemeni & everything made with so much care & love. Will be coming back!!!!View more
