Mazbi is widely praised for authentic Yemeni flavors, a warm family vibe, and friendly attentive staff. Dishes like mandi, fahsa, mogalgal beef and lamb, mazbi chicken, and a variety of samosas and breads are described as flavorful, well prepared and satisfying, with desserts such as kunafa and fattah highlighted as standout treats. The restaurant earns credit for generous portions and good value, along with vegan friendly options and a welcoming atmosphere, though a few reviews note occasional slower service or brunch that can be a bit pricey. Many comments mention the rice and spices being well balanced and the overall experience feeling like a homey, culturally rich dining event with traditional decor. Overall Mazbi stands out as a top destination for Yemeni cuisine in Montreal with repeat visits and strong recommendations.
Had their beef sambosa, lamb broth & mandi lamb. They were all quite tasty & perfectly seasoned. The lamb was fall off the bone tender, & juicy just like the other reviews have mentioned. It also paired well with the broth (which was mildly gamey so if you're not into that then maybe skip the broth all together 😆) I'd love to come back & try their other dishes, & have their tea again
The food is well prepared & super delicious. A lot of options (vegetarian options available). The service is great, friendly, fast & they answer any questions you might have. The restaurant is super clean & the management listens to suggestions & support their staff if the restaurant is full. I love this place a recommend it for authentic Yemani dishes
Best Mandi I've ever had in Montreal. Everything was delicious & the staff are very kind. The mazbi potato is a good side, highly recommend. & you must finish with their chai.
Food was outstanding, very fresh, hot, & with heart. The flavor was excellent. Overall one of the best restaurants I've been visited my my entire life.

Had an amazing dinner at Mazbi Restaurant with my partner. Maraq soup was a starter for me & the broth had intense lamb flavor . For the main course we took Fahsa lamb & Mogalgal beef. Both dishes were served with rice & were super delisious. Khobaz with kefir style dip was a nice surprise. We finished the evening with adan chai. top notch value/price ratio. & staff was very nice & carring! Would recommend to my friends & visit again.
I had very nice experience, friendly hosts, food is amazing, reminded me of home. It's My second time visiting Mazbi the decor was amazing 🤩 & the service is amazing so grateful
