Delicious as always! Mazbi is the only Yemeni restaurant in Montreal & it never disappoints. The food is full of flavor & the meat just falls off the bone. Highly recommend!View more

Quality food & authentic flavors. Highly recommend Mazbi Restaurant. The staff is very friendly & accommodating. We had the beef dish & it was divine, the rice & bread were delicious.View more
Really loved the flavor of the Mazbi Lamb it was my favorite. The Mandi chicken was very tender & fell off of the bone. The rice was super flavorful & overall everything was perfect for lunch.View more
I appreciated the tenderness of the lamb, but overall, this experience was disappointing. The bread served was not the right type for Fahsa, & providing only a small portion for the entire dish was inappropriate. The rice was overly spiced, overwhelming the flavor, & the prices were far too high for the quality offered. The presentation & the dishware were quite underwhelming. I was excited to find a Yemeni restaurant in Montreal, but I left wishing I hadn't visited. That said, the service was friendly.View more
Had To pleasant experience. The reviews truly didn't lie. This place is ya hidden local gem. The food was authentic & full of flavor. The staff & atmosphere put us at ease. The price is reasonable too. Next time I'm in town I'll be showing up again.View more

We had an outstanding dining experience at this Yemeni restaurant. The dishes were truly exceptional, bursting with authentic flavors that left us eager for more. What made our visit even more memorable was the customer service; Wafa, in particular, went above & beyond to ensure our comfort & satisfaction. Highly recommend visiting for anyone looking for a top-notch meal coupled with excellent service!View more
Mazbi Restaurant offers a taste of Yemeni tradition right in the heart of Montreal. As someone from Djibouti, Mazbi's authentic flavors remind me of home. Their lamb is simply exceptional, cooked to perfection with spices that transport you to Yemen itself. The traditional Yemeni tea served after the meal is the perfect ending to a delightful culinary journey. Mazbi Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a true taste of Yemeni cuisine in Montreal.View more
I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, & I'm so glad I did! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of authentic Yemeni spices transported me to another world. The ambiance was cozy & inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I had the Mazbi lamb & Mandi lamb, both were incredibly tender & packed with mouthwatering flavor that left me craving more with every bite. The portions were generous, ensuring no one leaves hungry. But what really stood out was the hospitality. The staff treated us like family, going above & beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu & eager to recommend their favorites. Overall, this Yemeni restaurant exceeded all my expectations. If you're craving authentic Middle Yemeni cuisine served with warmth & hospitality, look no further. I can't wait to return & try more dishes from their delicious menu!View more
My recent dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional! Coming all the way from Vancouver, I had the opportunity to savor dishes that I've been missing for years, as they're not readily available in my hometown. The staff truly made my visit memorable with their warmth, friendliness, & constant smiles. From the moment I stepped in, their helpfulness & attentiveness were evident, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful evening. Now, let's talk about the food - an absolute feast for the senses! I couldn't resist ordering the Mazbi, Masoob, & Adany Chai, & each dish surpassed my expectations. The flavors were rich, authentic, & transported me back to the essence of the cuisine I've been longing for. The Mazbi was perfectly cooked, the Masoob was a burst of delightful taste, & the Adany Chai provided a comforting conclusion to my meal. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, creating a cozy & inviting space where I could savor every bite. Whether you're a local looking for an exquisite dining experience or a traveler wanting to explore the culinary treasures of the area, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. In conclusion, my visit was a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations. I left with a satisfied palate, a happy heart, & a deep appreciation for the friendly staff & the delicious cuisine. Five stars without a doubt - I can't wait for my next visit!View more
First time trying Yemeni food & we were not disappointed. We were a big group so we made a reservation & they accommodated our 12 ppl party. I tried their Marag soup made of simple lamb broth. Very simple broth yet layered with flavors of lamb marrow & other earthy spices. Perfect balance of flavors. I then tried the mixed samosas appetizers. I love that they are done in the traditional Arab way using filo pastry. Delicious! The main dishes for us were Chicken mogalgal & mandi lamb. So yummy & rich with spices. Ask for the rice to come with fried onions. You can skip the bread which tasted like naan. The two dishes were best eaten with their rice. We had their Fetta with dates. An interesting hearty dessert that I would love to have for breakfast. The atmosphere is very simple & practical. Not for special occasions but for a more casual crowd. The service was excellent. Very attentive & the food arrived fast even though we were a large group.View more
a friend recommended this place & I was truly impressed!! it's my first time eating yemenite food I sure hope it won't be my last because it's a cuisine that feels so complex & full of new flavors,, portions are enormous, 3 plates are more than enough for 4 grown humans,, they really put an effort in the décoré of the space & the restroom is the cleanest I've seen in Montreal (my place included),, definitely give it a try, you won't regret it!
pd. get the 3 sambosas (cheese one was my favorite)
pd2. I didn't try the veggie options but I'm sure they are as good or even better than the meat onesView more
