We had an incredible experience last night at Máti. From the moment we walked in until the end, we enjoyed every bit of it. The service was top notch & the food was delicious, best Greek food I have ever ate so far & I have been to Greece. It's clear that the chef & kitchen staff take pride in their work. The restaurant was noticeably understaffed, which meant the workers were very busy & often distracted. The lamb chops were tough, as the connective tissue had not been removed properly. While the tzatziki was good, it was pricier than what we encountered at other Greek restaurants. On a positive note, the interior design of the place was pleasant.View more

Food & wine selection was great. But service was quite disappointing. They overbooked their tables, which meant there was still a group eating when we arrived (on time) for our reservation. Despite having other empty tables, they made us wait at the bar for over 20min for the table to clear. This would of been perfect acceptable, if it wasn't for the fact that the bar didn't even have enough chairs for our party of 4. Finally went came the time to settle the bill, there was an error with an item ordered at the bar & it took a lot more effort than necessary to convince our waitress to verify with the bartender. Those are all small frustrations, but overall dulled down our dining experience.View more
