Visiting & learning from Zestor is such an amazing experience. He warmly shared his passion for matcha, carefully explaining the differences & health benefits of every tea. Specialty shops like At Matcha are becoming more rare, & Zestor's unapologetic passion for what he does makes the experience so much more special. We love you Zestor!!!
Matcha was amazing- we tried the tasting menu, the regular matcha latte, & the avocatcha. The avocatcha is my personal favorite- creamy, nutty, & has a sweet/floral flavor to it. I appreciate the attention to detail- the drinks are served in stainless steel cups & glassware which retain the cool temperature. The store is also spotless- the owner is constantly cleaning & is attentive. We will continue coming here.
Very nice matcha shop for matcha connoisseurs. I'm not big on matcha so it was nice to try a couple of drinks (cold only). Very fun experience. The atmosphere is very nice, you need to take off your shoes & wear the slides they provide. It's like the full japanese experience. There's a not laptop sign as you come in so it's more a place to relax & socialize. I just don't like the "@" in the name because it always confuses google maps lol.
Came the first time but the store was still close but luckily I made it the next day. Such a great experience to try different type of matcha. It was smart haha to not tell us what the types that I would drink :) i love the banana matcha. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience & try more type of matcha
Beyond delightful. This shop has a relaxed vibe & the drinks are outstanding. Nestor, the owner & matcha master, is outstanding too! The service was tops. He has a lot of beautiful paintings he sells besides. This is my new favorite place in Montreal, try it for yourself.

J'ai découvert l'endroit par hasard mais pour mon plus grand bonheur. Le matcha vendu est délicieux, la bouteille à emporter est en verre donc réutilisable & écologique, le patron a de très bon conseils. Incontournable pour les fans de Matcha à Montréal !
The matcha was amazing, but in all honesty, there was much different service to younger women than the other older adults in the store. We did not feel the owner was excited to speak with us, & honestly dampened the experience a bit when seen in comparison to others. The quality & taste of the matcha though was amazing, & the store itself is very cute - just be a little wary!
What a charming little spot! The atmosphere is cozy & the matcha was great quality. Above all you can tell that the owner puts a lot of love & care into his business & his craft.
Love this cozy little hole-in-the-wall tea salon. The owner is knowledgeable & helps you choose a matcha that's right for you :3 There are only a few tables, but the walls are covered with paintings & bookshelves, & the regulars are friendly. I don't go there that often because it's well out of my way, but 100% worth the trip by public transit. If memory serves there's a Bixi stand close by as well. **** J'adore ce petit salon de thé comfortable! Le propriétaire nous aide à bien sélectionner notre matcha selon nos goûts. Il n'y a que quelques tables, mais les murs sont décorés de tableaux & de bibliothèques. Je n'y vais pas souvent parce que c'est plutôt loin de chez moi, mais ce salon est accessible par transport en commun & il en vaut la peine. Les réguliers sont sympathiques :3 Selon mes souvenirs, il y a aussi une station Bixi pas loin.
So glad I found this gem of a spot! As a budding matcha enthusiast, I was nerding out on everything Nestor had to offer & all the knowledge he shared. Come here for the vibes & unique, delicious drinks! Ps. Friend & I spent an hour or so doodling here. The vibes are quiet & relaxing. We had the tea tasting, & I'm not a big tea person outside of matcha but it was fun to try different flavours. The owner is nice & clearly passionate about what he does.
