My boyfriend & I were here in Montreal for a dragon boat race two weeks ago. I found this place from a recommendation & was determined to try out the matcha drinks! We got the iron matcha & hojicha choco & they both did not disappoint the slightest bit. The decorations were lovely & cozy (he also has beautiful paintings). Nestor was so kind & nice & friendly & you could tell how passionate he was in curating the best & most healthy drinks for his customers, getting the best ingredients from all over the world. During our chit chat he even offered some delightful snacks (best date with cashew ive ever had!!) & mini drinks of cermonial matcha & jasmine tea (also the most fragrant & delicious jasmine tea ive had). It was a great experience & we promise to come back if we ever visited Montreal again. Or let us know if you ever open a place in Vancouver haha!

Heard about this tea house from the media & the lasting impressions of the general public, so decided to give it a go (as a matcha enthusiast myself). I was impressed. Nestor is definitely one who shows his passion, even his stories about his travel & craft have been quite inspiring to say the least. I left a visual review on my insta which he has seen as well. I am really glad to have given this a try on my last day in Montréal. Worth every minute & cent spent. More power to you & your cafe, Nestor :)

We have been to many cafés & tea houses in Montreal, but this is our all-time favourite teahouse for matcha. Nestor is a master of his craft, & his knowledge of tea truly inspires us to learn more about the art of tea-making.
We especially enjoy the iron matcha & order it on every visit. That said, there are many options to choose from-ranging from traditional serving styles to more refreshing & creative blends.
We always leave feeling recharged & refreshed, & we learn a new fun fact about tea with each visit.

Nestor a réussi a créer un espace accueillant & doux qui invite à la lenteur dans le coeur du Plateau-Mont-Royal. Le matcha est préparé avec minutie & amour & ça se goûte dans chaque gorgée. Un bel endroit pour passer un moment agréable & sans stress.

Beyond delightful. This shop has a relaxed vibe & the drinks are outstanding. Nestor, the owner & matcha master, is outstanding too! The service was tops. He has a lot of beautiful paintings he sells besides. This is my new favorite place in Montreal, try it for yourself.

So glad I found this gem of a spot! As a budding matcha enthusiast, I was nerding out on everything Nestor had to offer & all the knowledge he shared. Come here for the vibes & unique, delicious drinks! Ps. Nestor- If you see this, I tried stopping by for a Sesamatcha before heading back to the states & was bummed that I missed you before your trip! Thanks again for such an awesome experience. The most amazing shop in Montreal! I came here with my girlfriends for my Bachelorette & came across this shop. Nestor is so incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, & the most down to earth person! We got to taste so many teas & had many good laughs. He is also a painter so the shop is decorated with amazing artwork you can buy. I was able to get this masterpiece & am so thankful. You truly feel so wholesome going into this shop. It's an ABSOLUTE MUST for anyone in Montreal! 🤩

Je suis une grande fan de matcha , ce magasin est un vrai paradis ! Le propriétaire Nestor , est vraiment très agréable il aime son métier & ça se ressent dans ce qu'on déguste dans sa boutique . J'ai goûté un matcha lait de citrouille fait maison & légèrement sucré à la date , une exaltation pour les papilles. De plus l'ambiance est zen, & le style bohème est au top. Je suis là pour 10 jours encore je vais revenir c'est une certitude

Nous adorons Nestor & ses thés! Nous partons de loin pour aller acheter ses matchas faits à la main, frais & ô combien de qualité! Humble & passionné, Nestor est vraiment un homme charmant. Nous recommandons assurément à tous ceux qui passent (ou non) dans le coin ;)

Wow. Words cannot describe this fine establishment. Nestor is incredibly well versed in Asian culture. My friend spoke so highly of this place that I had to give it a visit. As I walked through the door, I was greeted by zen. Truly a warm & welcoming sanctuary in this cold Montreal tundra. If I did not have class, I could have spent hours here. An educational, cultural & culinary experience all in 1. I will definitely be back soon. Best matcha eve
