Although slightly different from the matcha I am used to, it was a very nice spot to stop in on our walk through Montréal. You can taste the care put into each tea that you are given. Handwritten letters adorn the walls alongside various artwork & tea-making tools, which gives the environment of the shop a very quaint romanticism. My only real complaint was the heat inside the building during the summer, which I found to be a common theme in the city. The owner was very nice, & would even wave to us as we walked by his shop in the following days.
Such a welcoming & calming space to be in, the tea is delicious & thoughtfully made. The owner is so wonderful, thank you for the one of a kind experience!

Absolutely worth a visit! The owner is incredibly sweet & welcoming. We had the tasting menu & all the teas were delicious, we left feeling full & happy. Thank you for the experience!
Super unique place! The owner offered me to try various teas & drinks he made, & all of them are very delicious & quite unique. I like that all of his drinks are very centralized on the flavor & taste of the tea. If you're someone trying to avoid artificial sweetners & sugar, I strongly suggest this place as I noticed most of the drinks are sweetened with fruits. I also got the Smootcha to-go & am amazed by the deep earthy taste of matcha but none of the bitterness. As a side note, it seems the owner isn't a fan of unprompted photos of himself nor screen usage in his store, so please try to be respectful & minimize usage of it.
Wonderful selection of matcha as well as other teas. The owner is quite knowledgeable & has a deep understanding of matcha. Best matcha shop in Montreal!

Nestor is a genius with people, food, & aesthetics. This place is most certainly worth visiting if you ever have the time. Personally, I like the teamonade
The drinks were so earthy & tasty! We talked to the owner for a while & he talked about the benefits of certain teas. He is clearly very knowledgeable about teas & their properties, & he even takes the time to make his own milk (out of pumpkin seeds)! Great service & a lovely little shop/resto.
Best tea shop I have ever been in & genuinely the best matcha ever. The owner is amazing & had the warmest heart. We learned so much from him, I felt like I was transcended to a tea universe. Must place to visit.
The owner was really kind & patient. We came in late & there was no one in the store. The owner was really kind & invited us in. He also told us the stories & the benefits of matcha, & it felt like watching a tea master in action. I hope I can rate this higher but well... there is only 5 star.

I've never been to an establishment more deserving of a five star review than this one. My girlfriend & I were just looking for a place to get some warm tea & relief from the cold rain while we killed time before a concert. In doing so we stumbled upon a true gem. For starters the tea was delicious. We started with a cup each of some sesame matcha that the owner had just made followed later by complementary small cups of white tea. As amazing as the tea was, I don't even know if that's the best part. The atmosphere of the tea shop is so inviting & calming. There are indoor plants everywhere & the walls are lined with beautiful paintings. To top all of this off the owner is so sweet & very passionate about tea. You can tell that each pot is made with love. We were only in Montréal for the night to catch a concert, but if I lived in this city there's no doubt I would be here very frequently.
I feel like I'm at a tea renegade mastermind's lair, being served familiar teas with different tones of flavours, home brewed white tea from exotic locations. It is a special experience in the city, I had the matcha avocado, traditional matcha & got served white tea in the house & some fresh date & peanut butter snacks for iron since matcha inhibits iron intake. I love this place! It's a great environment & the owner is extremely friendly, welcoming, & knowledgeable about matcha & other tea. This is the best matcha I've found in Montreal, by far! Try the sommelier for an exquisite matcha experience.
Definitely check this spot out!! Honestly one of the best tea shops I've ever come across with the nicest & funniest owner! He had a unique selection of brews from cool & refreshing to warm & hearty. You have to go & experience all the flavours yourself! He's always brewing something new, so it's very interesting to see what he creates. He also sells matcha powder, matcha whisks, & other tea accessories for reasonable prices.
Lastly, not only are the drinks amazing, the space is warm & welcoming too! The walls are decorated with his beautiful landscape pantings & the shelves are filled with art books & plants. He also had games available such as checkers & connect four. We had a blast every time we went!
