Ma deuxième visite au Marci, & certainement pas la dernière.
Nous avons commencé avec les huîtres en entrée : elles étaient très fraîches & délicieuses. Ensuite, nous avons partagé une pizza & les papardelles, & tout était excellent. Pour terminer, nous avons pris la ganache au chocolat & pistaches - un vrai coup de coeur.
Le rapport qualité-prix est aussi très bon. Pour environ 200 $ pour deux personnes (pourboire inclus), nous avons eu : 2 verres de vin, un martini, une entrée, deux plats, un dessert & un cappuccino.
Le vin était très bon, le service impeccable & l'ambiance parfaitement réussie : une musique présente, mais juste assez discrète pour bien profiter du moment.
Nous y sommes allés pour un date night, mais c'est aussi un endroit parfait pour une première date, un anniversaire ou une soirée entre amis.
Marci has been all over my feed lately on social media lately, so I had to see if the hype was real. After visiting on a packed Wednesday night, I'd say it's a bit of a mixed bag, but definitely worth a visit if you go in with the right strategy.
The Atmosphere & Service: First off, the decor & vibes are 10/10. It's moody, beautiful, & feels like the place to be in Montreal right now. Our waiter was incredibly kind & gave us some solid advice on the menu!
One heads-up: The space isn't huge & because it's so popular with groups, the noise levels were a bit bothersome. It can get quite loud, making it a bit hard to hear each other across the table. Pro tip: Book weeks in advance; we snagged our table early, & even on a weeknight, there wasn't an empty seat in the house.
The Food (A Group-Style Affair):
Just something to keep in mind, there aren't really'appetizers' here. The menu is curated for groups to share everything. Since there were only two of us wanting different things, it was a bit of a struggle to navigate the'share everything' format.
What we ordered:
• Chicken Parm (9/10): Absolute superstar. The portion is massive & it was cooked perfectly. A must-order!
• Meatballs (7/10): Solid, flavorful, & a great addition to the table.
• Tomato Pie (4/10): I know this is the'viral' dish, but I honestly didn't get the hype. It fell a bit flat for me compared to the other plates.
Know Before You Go:
• Portion Sizes: They are huge. Don't over-order!
• Sides: Be aware that veggies/sides (like broccoli) don't come with the mains; you have to order them separately (one again, portions are huge!).
• Best for Groups: I'd recommend coming here with a party of 4+ rather than a date or a night for two people, just so you can sample more of the menu & match the high-energy volume of the room.
Summary: Go for the incredible service & the Chicken Parm, but maybe skip the tomato pie if you aren't a die-hard fan of that style!

J'ai adoré mes deux visites (date night & soirée entre filles). La nourriture est excellente & le service reçu pour les deux occasions a été rapide, efficace & gentil. C'est une adresse dans mes chouchous assurément!
Honestly gnocchi us to die for. That mushroom ricotta sauce damn stunning. I haven't had a meal that satisfying in a minute, price & taste wise. Lovely spot to eat & yap or to be on a date
Went for a date night with a close friend of mine. I could've swear the waiter was close friend to me too since the service was very personalised & warmful. Offered 3 different wines & took the time to explain every details about them. Perfect food, perfect wine, perfect service. I wish i could've catch the DJ night. Will have to come back!!
Great date night or dinner with friends spot!! Amazing food & ambiance. Great wine selection. I will definitely be back, I need to try everything on the menu. Do yourself a favor & get the broccoli. 10/10

An ideal date night spot, it delivers in every way. The setting is intimate & beautifully moody-dim lighting, comfortable seating, & giant drip candles that give the whole space a romantic, old-world charm.
An Italian-inspired menu full of wonderful dishes. We started with the ricotta meatballs, which were unbelievably juicy & tender, swimming in a flavorful sauce that you'll want to drink straight out of the plate (which we kind of did, to be honest) & The Parm-perfectly layered, cheesy, & deeply satisfying.
We couldn't resist trying one of their signature pizzas, hilariously (& aptly) named the'Dennis Rodman.' Topped with spicy sausage & baked on a perfect crust, it was bold, satisfying, & full of character-just like its namesake.
Dessert didn't disappoint either-each bite was rich, indulgent, & filling, the kind of sweet finish that leaves you smiling long after the plates are cleared.
the mood is just right: cozy, delicious, & effortlessly cool.
L'ambiance est agréable, le resto est très beau & chaleureux. La nourriture était délicieuse, nous avons pris les gnocchis & la pizza countach, miam! Le service était super, les serveurs étaient gentils & connaissaient bien leur menu. Parfait pour une soirée entre amis ou une date, je recommande!
Okay, to begin with just wow. This was not my first time here, I'd gone for cocktails in the past which were always memorable such as their fine martinis which are always a treat. However this was the first time I would order food. Had a fun little self date which absolutely recommend to anyone during the exam period when you need to unwind. The way to go is definitely start with oysters & either a Guiness or a glass of wine to boost those vitamins, then a little app or as I did go for the incredibly delicious chicken parm that killed it on since it kept all the right textures with maybe a little cocktail, then order another little dish if you've got room or move onto dessert. Any dessert would be incredible here but the mousse oh lord the mousse had this seductive velvetyness kind of like Jessica Rabbit. The people there are genuine warm souls & the vibe is beautifully effervescent, plus if the night is still young as you trundle out of there you can always go to any of the bars open late on the same street. Perfect for a cute date night or if you just want a nice little bite to yourself.

Perfect spot for a date or a party with friends. From the ambiance decor & music to the absolutely spot on delicious food its Marci's versatility that got me! Amazing soundsystem & pizza is the draw but refined service, wine list & surprising menu items like clams casino or the to die for japanese eggplant parm put Marci over the top! Finally the overall attention to detail, aesthetic & feel is amazing. Shoutout to Marc & the team!
5-stars easy! From the warm atmosphere, nice decor, delicious food & service?! All top tier! This is not a paid review, but a review out of absolute gratitude & appreciation for a spot that offers you a great experience completely. Especially in a time where so many places are overpriced & do not offer the service & food to justify their prices! Feels good to actually enjoy the money you are spending! & the sound system plus the volume of the music which most places don't understand the importance of was absolutely perfect. This place is awesome! Would be a dope spot for a first date too!

The staff is friendly, the food is outstanding, theres a great choice of wines & digestif, the space is simply beautiful & the music selection sets the tone for a good ambiance throughout the night. Great spot for a date or just to have a good time with friends. Definitely a place to discover on the plaza! S/o to Walla P! MARCI!
