If you're craving a delicious roast polao in Montreal, I highly recommend Moon Star Restaurant! 🤍
The portion size was incredibly generous-more than enough to satisfy a big appetite. The chicken piece was huge, tender, & packed with flavour, perfectly paired with the fragrant roast polao.
What made our visit even more special was Moon Apu. She was so warm & welcoming from the moment we walked in. She genuinely cared about our experience & made sure we were comfortable & having a great time throughout our visit. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference.
Great food, generous portions, & exceptional service-we'll definitely be coming back!
delicious food. everything was great, we had the lamb, chicken curry combo (with dahl & rice), & eggplant
Worst staff needs change for a fact that it takes more than usual to get the food & when you order on Uber the old folks working there don't know how to operate & sometimes they don't even give the food to the delivery drivers! My delivery guy came to my doors empty handed cz the restaurant refused to give him the food I paid for just cz he couldn't figure out if the driver excepted the order or not! Change of staff & operations is needed or the business will turn into a nightmare for this restaurant. But the food ain't that bad for the $buck!
Delicious food, great value! Love the homely atmosphere & the warm service
Though rice is the foundation of Bangladeshi cuisine (plain rice, pulao rice, kicchuri, biryani, tehari, kacchi, even rice roti), it's good to see this restaurant upgraded from its initial offering of cooked frozen parathas (a few years back) to one of the best freshly baked layered naans in MTL. Some Bangla restaurant do not offer naans at all, just rice. So hats off to Marché Moonstar for its willingness to adapt & evolve to provide this option to other customers. The Bhuna curries are authentic & consistently well done.
Inconsistency is dominant in this place & the atmosphere is a mess. This place needs improvement. I would not reccomend dining in this place. I don't see a scope of improvement
