Had a good experience at Restaurant Moonstar & tried quite a few Bangladeshi dishes. The Beef Tehari was tasty, although a little oily for my taste. Chicken Tandoori with naan & salad was good, & the Beef Seekh kebab was definitely one of my favourites. The shak was also really good & had a nice deshi taste.

The Duck Curry wasn't quite for me, & the Tengra fish was just okay. The ambience is pretty simple, but overall the food was good & we enjoyed our meal.

A solid spot for Bangladeshi food. Overall, 4.5/5 from me! 🇧🇩

Visiting town & a friend took us to eat at Moon Star & boy let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This place rocks!!!!! I especially recommend the shrimp, dal puri, & a fried chicken & rice dish. Best bangla food 🤩🙏

If you're craving a delicious roast polao in Montreal, I highly recommend Moon Star Restaurant! 🤍

The portion size was incredibly generous-more than enough to satisfy a big appetite. The chicken piece was huge, tender, & packed with flavour, perfectly paired with the fragrant roast polao.

What made our visit even more special was Moon Apu. She was so warm & welcoming from the moment we walked in. She genuinely cared about our experience & made sure we were comfortable & having a great time throughout our visit. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference.

Great food, generous portions, & exceptional service-we'll definitely be coming back!

I've been here twice. First time was life-changing. Not to be dramatic.
I was craving chicken & rice & got exactly that. Roast Polao. I savoured every bite & couldn't stop thinking about it.
I really enjoyed how it felt like a home-cooked meal prepared just for me.
The portion size filled me up haha
The staff are warm & the environment feels safe. Like I'm traveling somewhere & just popped in for a bit to eat.
Definitely worth trying!

Very good food. Fresh & yummy. The new Malai chicken is the best item. We ordered half chicken tandoori, lamb kebab, beef tikka, Malai chicken. All tastes really good. Took some take aways too- lamb kebab, Beef tehari & malai chicken. Beef tehari tasted awesome. Service is good, very friendly. Best part is the price is very reasonable & the portion is big. Good food with large portion but less proce than other places for authentic Bangladeshi food. Loved it. Will go again if we come to this city again. Or passing by. All the best to the moon star team.

Trying their food took me back to when I went to visit Dhaka, Bangladesh for a couple of months. Excellent service & very welcoming! Portions are generous! We had their Beef Tehari, Chicken Curry, with the side dish Allo Bhorta, Begun Bhorta, & Sutki Bhorta. All very tasty & delicious, spicy, & authentic!
