The food was AMAZING & the service & prices were great!! We shared a bunch of stuff, & the roast polao was my favorite! We also got free rice pudding! Overall I highly recommend!!
This is as authentic as it gets for Bengali food. It's the best bang for the buck. It reminds you of Bangladesh, where the chairs & ambiance isn't so great but the food makes up for everything. The roast pulao reminds you exactly of what a traditional Bengali wedding. It's rich & creamy & filling with the fragrant pulao rice. Will be definitely coming back for more & recommend this spot.

I went to Moon Star restaurant on my short visit to Montreal from Toronto. I must say their food blew me away. Every dish we ordered had an authentic Bangladeshi taste: no fusion, no mixes no shortcuts. Moon Apu is incredible, her hospitality was beyond amazing. To top it all, she gave me a box of piyaju on the house for my way home to Toronto. If you are in Montreal & wanting to try authentic Bangladeshi cuisine….dont think twice just try this gem out!
After a long time, I finally had a truly satisfying meal. The food was exceptional-both in quantity & quality. Every dish carried the rich aroma & authentic taste of traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, which made the experience even more special.
What stood out the most, however, was the hospitality. The owners treated us with such warmth & care, it felt less like dining at a restaurant & more like being welcomed into a family home. Their kindness & attention made the entire experience unforgettable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine flavors & heartfelt service.

Amazing experience . Specially food was very fresh , hot & tasty. Serving was very friendly. I would really recommend everyone to try this atleast once. You wont regret.

This is one of my favourite spot in Montreal. Definitely recommend this place. The customer service is really on top of everything. The food was amazing. Good quality food & place looks good by Bangladeshi Standard.

We were passing through Montreal from Toronto & decided to grab lunch here, & I'm really glad we did. We ordered the beef tehari & it was honestly so good-full of flavor & very comforting. Everyone working there was kind & easy to talk to, & the owner was especially friendly & welcoming. Nothing felt rushed, & the service was just genuinely nice. Overall, it was a great experience & I'd definitely recommend this place if you're craving Bangladeshi food.

After a long time in Montreal, I finally tasted tehari, borhani, & boti kebabs that felt truly authentic to Bangladeshi cuisine. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend, & I can't wait to return for the kacchi biryani & more. Oh, & the naan that comes with the kebabs is absolutely stunning. The ambience / decoration is basic, but we were there for the food & it delivered.
We ordered like 7 or 8 different dishes & honestly every single one was so good. If you're craving legit, authentic Bangladeshi food, this spot is a must-visit. The service was amazing too. The host was very welcoming, super attentive & really took great care of us. I highly recommend this place!

Authentic Lamb & beef kebab, chicken grilled, Naan were delicious. It exceeds my expectations of the quality food & pleasant atmosphere. The owner was kind & welcoming. I would recommend this place & will come back again.
The food is awesome. I love the host too Moon apu. She is really sweet. Their food is top quality & Very very clean. Recommend to everyone if you want a taste of Bengali food & spices.
