Very affordable, & the owner, Moon, is super sweet & constantly came over to confirm we liked the food, even gave us free little dessert rolls. We loved the biryani rice, the butter chicken, & the'roast chicken' (which actually comes in a delicious sauce!). We've since come back twice for more!
Awesome food awesome service. Owner even gave us few sweets to try after our meal. Truely amazing.
The chicken & beef biriyani is awesome over at this place. Guys check this place out
The food was great. A bit busy & chaotic but the owner went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome.
I've been dying for a homestyle Bangladeshi meal for weeks now & discovered this lovely spot Moon Star today. I had the Chicken Curry & Roast Pulao, easily enough portion for 2 very hungry people. Lucky for my friend that I will bring some home. The food was fresh & made with a lot of love, the taste won't deny that! Moon (the owner) is also very lovely & so welcoming!
Definitely will come back again for this lovely slice of Bangladesh in Montreal.
The food is delicious & reasonably priced, offering exceptional value for the quality. Additionally, the service is outstanding, with attentive staff who go above & beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
always order through uber eats & love the food specially tehari! but sometimes instructions like extra salad is not looked over. another time ordered kebab with naan combo & was surprised to find out only 1 cold naan with kebab with no sauce or salad.
also kinda disappointed as i couldnt order late night as i thought it's 24hrs open as said in uber eats
Very underrated tasty Bangladeshi food. Authentic & owner was really helpful with everything. Price is very reasonable.
**Disappointed After High Expectations**
I had high expectations for this Bangladeshi restaurant in Montreal after hearing good things & seeing positive reviews, especially from the Bangladeshi community. Unfortunately, it seems like as the restaurant has become more popular, the quality of the food has declined.
I ordered 2 beef tehari, but it was overwhelmingly spicy & contained over 10 pieces of dried prunes in a single plate, which was excessive. On a previous visit, I had tried the roast & found it excellent, but this time the two pieces I ordered smelled more like tandoori smoked legs than authentic roast. The test was like old.
The beef kebab was decent but not something I would recommend. Honestly, the only thing that met expectations was the Canada Dry.
Overall, my expectations were not met. It's disappointing to see a place let their food quality slip after achieving some success.
I still believe this restaurant has quality foods.
Very cozy place with friendly staff. Recommended for anyone looking for home-made style Bangladeshi food made with care.
Very friendly service also cheap really good one I've try…. The chicken biryani was one of my newer biryani ever yummy
Todo estuvo tan delicioso. El servicio fue maravilloso, la senora que atiende es súper amable. El servicio es muy rápido. La comida es de verdad, de lo más rica! Volveremos!!!!
A good restaurant to eat Bangladeshi food in Montreal. The owner was very nice. She helped select the good stuff out of the menu. Shutki Bhorta was yum. I'll definitely return to this Resturant when I come again to visit Montreal. Next time I'll try their Kachhi Biriyani !
