I have been ordering from here for years . However, recently I ordered from here & was ill. It was the type of illness that people get eating at a street food stall in a 3rd world country. I also noticed a new employee…..Therefore, I suspect an employee hygiene issue.
My souvlaki on pita with fries & fries was good & tasty & didn't disappoint. I hadn't been to Marathon souvlaki in years & it was nice to be back. Staff were great.

Our waitress Electra was exceptional, all the staff are lovely, & although not all the food is authentic Greek it's still so delicious & well priced, absolutely worth the visit!
The food is always consistent however, I think this is the only Greek restaurant in Montreal that makes you pay for Taziki sauce when you order a plate of food…very odd & annoying!!! a bit of a scam & I'm surprised they're still doing it after all these years to be honest. Not sure if I'm crazy for paying for it or they're crazy for still charging me for it lol

The marathon house salad is a top shelf side dish!
Basic, but comfortable atmosphere. Great food, especially for the price. Love their Marathon salad & Calamari. Portions are generous. Service is always friendly & quick. We go pretty often because it's always a satisfying experience.
