Marathon Souvlaki in Dollard-des-Ormeaux specializes in fresh, tender meat souvlakis. Marathon Souvlaki has also won an award for the best souvlaki by the Gazette. There are a choice between pork, lamb, chicken or even vegetarian souvlaki. Other dishes are also available at Marathon Souvlaki.
Marathon Souvlaki is widely praised for hearty Greek comfort food, with generous portions and reliable, quick service whether dining in or taking out. The menu features popular items like souvlaki, lamb chops, calamari and Greek salad, and many reviews highlight good value for money and consistent quality. The atmosphere is described as lively and welcoming, suited for families or large groups, with several visits noted as outstanding for friendly, attentive service. A few concerns appear about occasional slower service during busy times and certain changes to dishes like the salad dressing or bread, but overall the restaurant remains a dependable, affordable staple in the area.
This is probably my favourite restaurant. I've been going here for years & out of all the locations in Montreal this remains the best. The best service, best tasting food & overall just the best.

Haven't been here in a while. Food great & friendly service as always, but man why did you change the garlic bread? Wish you would go back to what it was.
Visited this place for the first time on Saturday, the 6th September, 2025. We had done phone booking in advance. So, we didn't have to wait long before we got table to order. The place was full with 100 % capacity. The waiter came within few minutes to take our order & it was delivered to the table within ten minutes. The seekh kebab was served with potatoes, rice & salad. The kebab was very delicious.
If you want to visit this place, must book your table in advance over the phone.
I have been eating at Marathon Souvlaki for many many years. They started in Chomedey Laval where I lived as a child. The restaurant was small but it had the family, home cooking feel.
The same goes for the location in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Although it is a bit noisy during the lunch hour, the food is just as delicious as when I was a child. The Pork Gyro is by far, the best in the city. You Must try it.
The lunch specials are amazing. So worth the money. Portions are huge where I had leftovers for dinner.
Service was exceptional. If I could choose more that 5 stars I would.
Will I go back? Absolutely 💯.

First time at Marathon, & it won't be my last! The food was fresh, tasty, & perfectly prepared. The service was great; if I could give 6 stars for service, I would. Thomas was fantastic- attentive, friendly, & made the whole experience even better. The only small downside was that it was a bit loud for me, but the atmosphere just shows how popular it is.
Can't wait to come back!

Free mall parking. I come all the time just for the Marathon salad for over a decade now. The plates are huge so the'small' plates are enough for most people. The place is always busy, but the service remains friendly & efficient. My niece loves fried calamari & says this place has the best one.
