Love stopping by Mandy's before work. Their bowls are always fresh, delicious, & the perfect lunch to look forward to later in the day.
Being right in the heart of downtown makes it super convenient, & one of the best things is that they open at 8:00 am. Not many places are ready that early, so it's great for anyone looking to grab something fresh before starting their day.
Elyshia is always there in the mornings to take our orders & make sure everything is prepared perfectly. The service is friendly, the food is consistently great, & the morning atmosphere is always a nice way to start the day.
What a dose of expectation vs. Reality. 17 dollars + cash tip for a soggy salad that looked like it was already half eaten when I opened it..I used to go to the westmount location when I lived there & never had this issue so im not sure if this is a location issue or if this is an shinkflation issue but I will not be returing. Even without the lack of food the bowl/flavour is so watery you'd think a salad spinner wasnt used to dry the leaves. I will say the cashier was great!
Used to live in Montreal years ago so was really looking forward to revisiting one of my favourite spots- was sad to see my favourite salad (the Superfood) is no longer on the menu :( Ordered the endless summer instead which was good too, but also sad there aren't pomegranate seeds anymore. Got my dressing on the side & the bowl was so full that it didn't mix in great. Miss the cup/deli container style packaging. & lastly, vibes in the place were pretty low. Still love my Mandy's, but just not quite the same as I remember!
What a disappointment Mandy's has become . They've halved the size of their salads & upped the price . I never minded paying 30$ for a salad cause it was filling, but now it's just pathetic portion - i made my own salad- walnuts ( maybe there were 4 walnuts, cranberries , like 6 cranberries - tiny amount of lettuce / it's just a rip off - sorry - plus - why are they serving everything with Plastic forks in a tiny cardboard bowl? I was eating IN, not take out
It was 32°c today & I spent 27 dollars on a bowl, but the hostess asked us to wait outside. Really bad service. Can't we sit in there for 10 minutes since we bought our food
Sadly, this Mandy's is super inconsistent. I always get a lightly-dressed mixed salad; sometimes, it's *drenched* in vinaigrette. Today, there was no vinaigrette at all. Sometimes the bowl is half full, sometimes it's overflowing. Some days it's amazing, other days I can barely eat it. It's like playing the lottery. I wish they would standardize things so that it was a reliable experience every time.
Just had a Veggie Power Bowl to go - excellent & a good generous size too. I travel a lot with work & really appreciate places like this which do excellent healthy food. Merci bien.
I LOVE Mandy's! This place is located in the heart on Montreal! My partner & I used to go there more often when we lived down town, but the other day I was craving Mandy's & so I went & got us a bowl of the Wolf. It has so much nutrients in it, very filling too! The flavours just all come together. I highly recommend Mandy's
Love health eating. Salad wonderful. Grain bowl as well. Mock chicken swell. Red peppers a bit vinegary. Price somewhat high. Service outstanding. Love the color theme.
