Mamma Mia in Côte-Saint-Luc is truly a gem. Every single dish was outstanding. We ordered three different pastas & genuinely couldn't decide which one was better.... each one was exceptional. The place is super cute, cozy, & has a beautiful Mediterranean vibe that makes the whole experience even better. An absolute must-try.
I was in the mood for some good authentic pizza & pasta so I ordered from Mama Mia,it was very good & tasted great but I ended up having gas for two whole weeks.The same thing happened to me when I bought some sushi from IGA,it really sucks cause I have to hold them back everytime I get into an elevator.

Amazing atmosphere, nice experience, delicious food specially the pasta fajuro soup. Amazing sea food pasta, also pesto penne.

Very happy to have a nice local pizza place nearby, this is always a must for me. On our first visit, we ordered pizzas to go. The pizza was larger than I had thought, so we had plenty of leftovers for the next day & it was just as good the day after. The pizza is also not very greasy either, I would say that the pepperoni one was ok, but the better choices are the ones with more toppings, the all dressed & super special were very good. On our second visit we had the pasta, & that was excellent. I had the Cannelloni Fiorentina & loved it. The cheese, freshly made pasta & other ingredients were delicious & the serving size was perfect. A great take out option when you have a group over or just to stop by for a nice meal.
I ordered the tortellini soup & it was extremely disappointing. The broth tasted like dishwater, the pasta was heavy & unpleasant, & I ended up with a stomachache afterwards. For the price, I expected much better quality. Definitely not a place I would recommend or return to.
If you have watched the Office When Michael Scott Bought from the Wrong Pizza Place this would be worse!
Mama Mia offers rich, authentic Italian flavors that truly impress. The pasta is cooked to perfection, the sauces are well-balanced, & every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The ambiance is warm & inviting, making it a lovely spot for a relaxed meal. That said, the service can be quite slow, even during quieter hours. While the staff is polite, the pacing may test your patience. Still, if you're not in a rush, the food is absolutely worth the wait.
My friend & I made reservations for Friday night. This is a well established restaurant with lots of charm & it's just beautiful. I'm including my pictures to illustrate this. I ordered the pasta & meat sauce & my friend ordered the Pasta Primavera. My friend actually is a very good cook & she loved her dish. & I loved my dish also. The food is very tasty. The Staff is friendly, & welcoming. We were served & waited upon beautifully. Just a little anecdote, this particular restaurant is very special to me because my husband took me here on our first date. & so because of this., I would highly recommend this for People who are going out on a first date, & anybody who wants a special ambiance.
Everyone's nice! It takes 20 minutes for it to get ready & it's definitely should be a longer wait. For what it's worth, it is one of the best places in mtl for pasta pizza, anything Italian?
I must start out by saying that my review is probably biased as I worked here over 50 years ago. It brought back fond memories. The restaurant has changed inside since then, & now has a warm comfortable inviting atmosphere, overseen by friendly family service. The menu here has always been fresh, with the best ingredients. That recipe hasn't changed in 50 years plus. Family owned & supported. Best pizza & pasta.

Decor out of date small dessert like looking menus with very little choice. ... Not even 5 min looking at the menu the waiter is asking us if we are ready to order & he sees that all are menus are still opened.. The owner was sitting a few tables down watching tv in the dinning area the entire time... The pizza was ok buns were STALE,,, arabiatta pasta & muscle pasta was AWFUL!! but the best was when my friend had as for cheese for her pasta the waiter came with Romano telling us he had to run to the store cause he ran out of cheese so he bough Romano ? Awkward !!! Oh didn't offer us dessert or coffee asked if we were finish & brought .....
1 BILL for the table.... !!!
