The tawouk sandwich is delicious, well-seasoned & generously portioned. But the burger was a letdown: overcooked, dry, & messy to eat. Giving 3 stars for the great tawouk, but the burger needs improvement.
I must say, a 2/3-star experience based on last night's sandwich & I'm now wondering if that's not overly generous.
Swung by last night after craving a Tawouk sandwich following a 10k run only to be utterly disappointed. I also brought a friend with who has never been before. I'm now finding myself explaining exuberant craving only to get… that.
I distinctly recall the epic bang with which this shop opened last year (I think?). Skewered marinated chicken freshly grilled, wrapped to perfection on a bed of coleslaw & crispy fries… the stuff of legends. Juicy enough for the memory to take hold deep inside your psyche & reappear as uncontrollable cravings after a miserable run. Lol
But that's not what I found last night. The juicy-tender chicken gave way, & a pre-grilled lukewarm rubbery meat took its place. The pita bread wasn't quite as fresh, & the layers of bread stacked up to make chewing more of chore than a delicious culinary experience. Midway through the sandwich, I caught myself unwrapping it to looking into its ingredients. Something definitely changed, & I felt robbed of the promise of that once-delicious memory.
The only saving grace is that the people were unmemorably courteous, & the place was clean. The sandwich is cheap enough to dull the outrage, & I guess the chances of another craving will now have to contend with this below average experience.
Very disappointed Malak Al Tawouk.
That royal title (Al Malak) needs revisiting.
The classic Tawouk Malak sandwich is very filling & tasty. I find that I end up removing some of the bread from the sandwich to really enjoy the taste.
Tried the Tawouk Malak Platter (enough for 2 people) & it was pretty good. Unfortunately they only give you a small garlic container. You get enough coleslaw & pickles, but definitely order extra garlic.
I love this place! The portions are huge, which is perfect for me as a football player-I need big meals, & this sandwich did not disappoint. It was packed with meat, full of flavor, & incredibly satisfying. Plus, the price is very affordable. I'll definitely be coming back!

An amazing spot for authentic Lebanese sandwiches that truly deliver on flavor! The Tawook sandwich was absolutely delicious & tasted just like the ones you'd find in Lebanon-perfectly seasoned, tender, & wrapped with care. The traditional Lebanese burger sandwich was another standout, packed with rich, authentic flavors that brought back so many memories. If you're craving a taste of Lebanon, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking genuine Lebanese street food done right!
As a fellow Lebanese who grew up eating Malak Al Tawouk. YOU. MUST. GO. HERE. When I heard they were opening in Canada, I freaked out & had to immediately come here to try it. Tastes just like home! & is quite affordable too. If you want fast, good & filling sandwiches.. Go to Malak Al Tawouk!
Malak al Tawook - Montreal: My delivery experience was good, food arrived fresh & hot. I must say the packaging is cool "the paper is not edible" 🤣 The fries sandwich is bit dry so make sure to order it Extra Ketchup & you will enjoy it for sure. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
My family & I ordered the chicken tawouk sandwiches & French fries. The food was decent, but we had specifically requested that the kids' sandwiches be made without ketchup & pickles. Unfortunately, this detail was missed, & all the sandwiches included both, which we only noticed after leaving the restaurant. It would be helpful if the staff paid closer attention to special instructions. I rated the atmosphere lower due to the limited seating-no tables were available-& the space felt loud & crowded.

I was expecting much better from this place. The shish sandwich wasn't juicy & too much bread in it. Nothing is especial about it. Malak al tawouk used to be always my favourite place in Lebanon. it is not the same flavour at all.
I tried the regular Taouk sandwiches & they were fantastic! The flavors were authentic, & the portions were really generous. You get a lot of quality food for an affordable price, making it a great value. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a delicious, hearty meal.
Malak el Taouk mérite plus que 5 étoiles! Tout est IMPECCABLE! Le service, les sandwichs, la location, tout! Déjà quand on rentre on se sent très bien de la propreté & l'organisation de cette place. Ils étaient occupés comme toujours mais ça vaut la peine de faire une queue. Le propriétaire est présent à tout temps pour superviser & ils portent le même costume que ses employés 🎩 Les sandwichs sont juste parfait, frais , équilibré & portions hyper généreuses 💝 FORTEMENT Recommandé💖🇱🇧
