The food was fresh & very tasty, especially the chicken shawarma. The service was friendly & very fast. The restaurant was clean & well organized. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
had a great experience at Malak El Taouk! The food is always fresh, flavorful, & authentic. The chicken taouk sandwich was perfectly grilled, juicy, & well-seasoned, & the garlic sauce is absolutely amazing. The portions are generous & the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
The staff were friendly & the service was quick, even during busy hours. The restaurant is clean & well organized, which makes it even more enjoyable.
If you're craving delicious Lebanese food, especially a tasty taouk sandwich, Malak El Taouk is definitely a great choice. I will definitely be coming back!
If you'd like, tell me which location you went to (for example Laval or Montreal) & I can personalize it more for you 😊
Excellent service & brings back memories from Lebanon. Clean & fast service.
the place is clean & nice, & great service. they have the best tawouk wrap tastes just like an authentic lebanese wrap
Malak Al Tawouk is LITERALLY MY COMFORT FOOD-I order at least once a week. We went the other day & the place was amazing, the staff was amazing, & it was super clean. I can't wait to try everything on the menu, but right now I'm a bit too obsessed with the Classique with cheese. Also my favorite fries in Montreal!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩
I must say, a 2/3-star experience based on last night's sandwich & I'm now wondering if that's not overly generous.
Swung by last night after craving a Tawouk sandwich following a 10k run only to be utterly disappointed. I also brought a friend with who has never been before. I'm now finding myself explaining exuberant craving only to get… that.
I distinctly recall the epic bang with which this shop opened last year (I think?). Skewered marinated chicken freshly grilled, wrapped to perfection on a bed of coleslaw & crispy fries… the stuff of legends. Juicy enough for the memory to take hold deep inside your psyche & reappear as uncontrollable cravings after a miserable run. Lol
But that's not what I found last night. The juicy-tender chicken gave way, & a pre-grilled lukewarm rubbery meat took its place. The pita bread wasn't quite as fresh, & the layers of bread stacked up to make chewing more of chore than a delicious culinary experience. Midway through the sandwich, I caught myself unwrapping it to looking into its ingredients. Something definitely changed, & I felt robbed of the promise of that once-delicious memory.
The only saving grace is that the people were unmemorably courteous, & the place was clean. The sandwich is cheap enough to dull the outrage, & I guess the chances of another craving will now have to contend with this below average experience.
Very disappointed Malak Al Tawouk.
That royal title (Al Malak) needs revisiting.
Tsk tsk tsk
Best place ever, super clean, very good service & the food is perfect.Price is unbeatable & the sandwich is very big, can't find a better deal in Canada.
I've been twice so far & went for the Tawouk sandwich with cheese both times. The size of the sandwiches is great, the regular is quite large so you don't even need a side of fries. It's a delicious sandwich, although a bit light on the veggies in comparison to Shawarma's which I am more accustomed to. The garlic sauce heavily dominates the flavours of the wrap. This place is pretty popular so the wait times can get long. In consideration of how busy they are, seating availability can be a problem. The place is kept clean though & generally well-run.
A clean & tasty place to eat sandwiches & burgers. The staff was friendly.
I tried also the soujok... hmm yummy... very generous, very tasty, very good price... well... the cleanest pleasant place & fast service with a smile. Best fast lebanese food of all other names in town. Proud !!!
Sandwiches are tasty & filling. The place was clean. Would definitely come back
Just had my first sandwich here & it tasted SO good. Very similar to its authentic Lebanese flavours. It made me very happy! The place is super clean, the staff is kind & helpful even the music was nice. Happy to see someone share the delicious flavours of Lebanon with the people of Montreal who always appreciate them. Also, the prices are quite reasonable, which is nice to have these days.
Good proportion & clean but absolutely no taste at all, too much garlic sauce. Could be much tastier hope they work on that as the place got some potential.
I respect the chain's authenticity, but it seems the flavors differ from its counterparts in Lebanon ( based on personal experience) & Dubai, according to what I've heard from friends who tried it there. To be fair, the place maintains cleanliness, & this extends to both the sandwiches & their components. People that work there are super nice & helpful. When you order a sandwich, expect it to come with an ample serving of coleslaw tucked between two layers of bread or pita, a modest amount of cheese, & the Tawouk. On a scale, I'd give the Tawouk sandwich a 6 out of 10. The reason being, it's heavy on the coleslaw & bread, while sparing on the cheese, & the chicken, when tasted on its own, lacks sufficient seasoning. While I'd suggest giving it a try, it's not something I find myself longing for.
No need to ask, Malak El Taouk is one of the best & cleanest restaurant in town!! They are lebanese YA HABIBII!! I recommend everyone to try this experience!! Enjoy
