Review Summary

Maison Sauvage Café is frequently described as a charming neighborhood spot with a cozy atmosphere and an impressive variety of creative, homemade cookies and unique beverages, such as cloud lattes and specialized matchas. While many patrons praise the delicious, high-quality textures and seasonal flavors of the treats, experiences regarding the service and consistency are notably polarized. Some visitors enjoy friendly interactions and professional service, whereas others report feeling ignored or encountering inconsistent food quality and temperatures. Although the aesthetic appeal often draws customers in, some find the pricing high for the portion sizes, and opinions on whether the experience lives up to the social media hype remain divided.

Lovely place for a coffee, tea or hot chocolate (dairy option available). Cookies are not only gorgeous, they are tasty.

I can only speak about the cookies that we're delivered to me. I ordered the following flavours : strawberry, lemon, hazelnut, matcha raspberry & the signature. I expected a bit more for the price to be honest. They look great but unfortunatly the flavours we're disappointment. The advertised flavour is the topping with almost nothing inside of the cookie to justify its name. So many opportunities we're missed to make those better(adding actual fruits dried, freeze dried or fresh, nuts, lemon zest, ect..), some like the strawberry felt like it was flavoured with cheap slushie strawberry essence. The best one was the signature which is coffee & chocolate. The best feature was the texture, the chew was good, not hard at all.

This is an update:
Ive been hear three times now. My first experience was with the hot chocolate which was very good as seen in the picture.
The second time (a tuesday) the hot chocolate was NOT HOT. It was cold , so it went by quick. My sister was craving the triple chocolate cookie & it didnt taste like the first time she ordered it, there was no taste.
My third visit this june (a monday) their cookies still werent tasty again. We came for the triple chocolate cookie again & tried the coffee & nuts, it was still flavourless😭. Im sorry, it was really dissapointing. There was genuinely no taste in either, except bites where there was chocolate chips. I love supporting local cafes, but i'm not coming again.

The Choco deluxe is melted chocolate with real whip cream - life changing! Think chocolaté & churros...

The cafe itself is cute & the selection of cookies looked really interesting, but compared to some of the other cafes in Montreal, it definitely falls a little short.

Originally intended to go here for the hot chocolate, but ended up getting a cloud latte. The coffee itself is not bitter, but it was overly milky & the fluff is so sweet that most of the drink is just marshmallow. It's served in a tall glas cup with a handle which while aesthetic, does not yield to a good drinking experience. The latte was also decently expensive.

Unfortunately the Montreal coffee scene is too competitive to warrant another trip here.

Nice coffee to take a sweet break 😊 the hot chocolate is really nice. & you have such a variety of cookies 🍪. However, Nutella latte is a nice one to get.

Went there to have the famous hot chocolate & ended up with disappointment. The serveuse was very rude & served the hot chocolate cold, even upon asking she just heated it up in microwave & it still wasn't hot enough.
