Cookies were delicious. Not too sweet the toppings were the right amount of sweetness & the cookie base was more mild. If you are not into overly sugary cookies these are pretty good. I had the pandan & biscoff ones.
Their coffee is good strong flavour. Nice environment & good music. Great for a hangout with friends or working on the laptop.
The quality of the matcha is incredible! The lady preparing the drinks was super kind & patient. It's a very nice place to study, it's very quiet. I came here with a friend & we got 2 cookies, we found the matcha was a bit dry but the lemon cloud cookie was incredible & so worth trying
This cafe features some gourmet, homemade cookies which attracted me as that's one of my top desserts. I had a poor experience with the service, however. When I walked towards the counter, there were two girls chatting with each other. They did not acknowledge me at all for an abnormal period of time & continued chatting like I was not there. I would normally walk out in this scenario but I did want to try these cookies. Eventually I was able to ask one of the girls my question, it was like she was reluctant to talk to me - I was there to buy cookies, not to ask for her number. The experience rubbed me wrong, & unfortunately the quality of the cookies was not much redemption. I went for the caramel pecan & the decadent, I probably enjoyed the first one a bit more. Neither of them had that doughy moistness I was expecting from a chunky, gourmet-priced cookie. It was not bad but didn't meet my expectations. The cafe seemed like a nice place to chill but the service I received discouraged me from trying this place again.
I can only speak about the cookies that we're delivered to me. I ordered the following flavours : strawberry, lemon, hazelnut, matcha raspberry & the signature. I expected a bit more for the price to be honest. They look great but unfortunatly the flavours we're disappointment. The advertised flavour is the topping with almost nothing inside of the cookie to justify its name. So many opportunities we're missed to make those better(adding actual fruits dried, freeze dried or fresh, nuts, lemon zest, ect..), some like the strawberry felt like it was flavoured with cheap slushie strawberry essence. The best one was the signature which is coffee & chocolate. The best feature was the texture, the chew was good, not hard at all.
This is an update:
Ive been hear three times now. My first experience was with the hot chocolate which was very good as seen in the picture.
The second time (a tuesday) the hot chocolate was NOT HOT. It was cold , so it went by quick. My sister was craving the triple chocolate cookie & it didnt taste like the first time she ordered it, there was no taste.
My third visit this june (a monday) their cookies still werent tasty again. We came for the triple chocolate cookie again & tried the coffee & nuts, it was still flavourless😭. Im sorry, it was really dissapointing. There was genuinely no taste in either, except bites where there was chocolate chips. I love supporting local cafes, but i'm not coming again.
I always have a pleasant experience here but today I want to highlight the iced ube matcha latte. I'm not sure if this is a limited edition menu item, but it's absolutely delicious & I will be returning soon for another!!
