Super cute Persian restaurant with lots of charm. We really enjoyed the ambience & the creative take on tahchin! We were a bit worried reading some of the reviews but the tahchin (kebab digi & chicken eggplant) were delicious. They are not your usual tahchin dishes - lots of aromatics that made the dish more complex & enjoyable. Highly recommend giving a try!

Maison Inja is a beautiful restaurant next to its sister café Aunja on Sherbrooke. We were a party of two & ordered the (1) Eggplant & Chicken Tahchin [$36.85], (2) Lentil Delight Appetizer [$15.85] & (3) Borage Teapot [$15.99]. The tahchin tasted mostly like chicken, as we were unable to see or taste the eggplant. Note that it is VERY filling. We enjoyed the lentil appetizer but were surprised at the few pieces of bread given (that was visibly ripped apart). We asked for more which came with a surcharge of $2.99! We were also tucked away in a corner where we didn't have any water refills the whole night & kept waiting for a server to come around. Despite the lack of attention from the staff & high costs, we had a wonderful time & enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance. I would highly recommend the borage tea & lentil appetizer! I will probably return & order a different tahchin to try next time. In total, the bill came to $82.41 after tax & before tip.View more

From the very first bite, we knew we were in for a treat! We ordered the kebab Digi & the Meat & Eggplant Tahchin, & both were absolutely delicious. The tahdig was perfectly crispy, & the flavors were rich, aromatic, & well-balanced. The dishes came with a variety of sides, adding to the experience. On top of that, our waitress was incredibly warm & welcoming, offering great recommendations. The cozy & beautifully designed space made the meal even more enjoyable.

The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautifully thought-out decor that makes the experience feel extra special. The owner & the wait staff were warm, attentive, & always smiling, which added a personal touch to the evening. The food was exceptional-Persian fusion with bold, delicious flavors. Where to start! The furniture selection & the tables looked like they were very manicured & original pieces. The service was fantastic & attentive. The server gave great information about the food choices & she paid attention to me after the meal was served. One of the owners came over to my table & introduced himself & asked me about my satisfaction with the meal. You could tell everyone working there really cared. I ordered the Shishlik & a Snowman kiss drink. The food itself was very high quality & authentic. It was served at the perfect temperature & I didn't have to wait on it. Awesome Everything was perfect. We have ordered 2 different kinds of Tahchin as the main dish & a piece of pastry with a small tea pot as the dessert.
