This place is everything you want in a neighborhood café - cozy, creative, & consistently delicious. The pastries are next-level (seriously, try anything with their seasonal flavors), & the coffee is always on point. You can tell there's real care behind everything they do, from the ingredients to the design to the genuinely kind staff.

I really enjoyed this cafe. I parked in front of it & hadn't seen it before, decided to go in & ended up leaving with a box full of goodies. I had the zaatar sandwich & coffee, & purchased a lot of their sweets to go. As someone who enjoys not-too-sweet sweets, I really loved the variety. It's unique & super delicious. My favourite was the tahini blondie & the salty scone. YUM! I will be back soon to get them.Voir plus

I started frequenting Maison Halwa on my lunch break for a coffee & sweet treat or the phenomenal Zaatar focaccia sandwich. Michelle, the owner, is so charming & attentive, & everything she bakes is delicious & made with care. I asked her to make my dream Wedding cake this past summer; she listened to my vision, we tasted a few versions, & ultimately she knocked us all out of our seats with the most incredible wedding cake(s!), that our family & friends are still talking about. Not only was her service top tier with her care & consideration for the vision we had, but it was so incredibly delicious. Exactly what we hoped for & more! Everything from here is DIVINE. I had a focaccia & coffee in the cafe & got a few items to take home, none of which lasted until the next day it was so amazing:maamoul, sfouf, tahini blondie, chocolate cookie, even a small tub of hummus. Maison Halwa Patisserie is an absolute gem in Montreal! The pastries here are a delightful fusion of French & Lebanese flavors, creating unique treats you won't find anywhere else. Each creation is a testament to the stunning craftsmanship of the baker. My all-time favorites were the za'atar sandwich & the pistachio baklawa croissant-truly unforgettable. The coffee is equally amazing, with intriguing flavor combinations that perfectly complement the pastries. The bakery has a trendy, chill vibe & is impeccably clean.
