It was our first time to this place. We picked up some Jamaican patties & goat & chicken rotis... All I can say is OMG the food was delicious. The patties were a little spicy with a bit of sweetness. The pastry was flaky & the stuffing was just right. These are the best we've had in Montreal by a long shot. The roti was just amazing. It is comfort food at its best. The goat & chicken were super tender. The portion is huge. We had a chat with the owner, chef Trevor. Super nice gentlemen. Definitely someone I would enjoy a chat with over a long meal. Unfortunately we were not able to try the ox tail as it was not ready (it was late morning). We will for sure go back to give it a try. This place is worth the detou

Without a doubt, one of my most favorite spots to order. Ever. The chicken roti is absolutely to die for. It is pure quality every single time. The staff are incredibly nice & professional. There is nothing bad to say about this place whatsoever. You will never forget your first time eating here at Maison du Cari des Caraïbes!!

It's was gross. The stew chicken tasted like BBQ sauce & sugar, & they're was barely any chicken in it. The rices & peas were tasteless & I only had 3 peas on my plate. They give you one piece of plantain & the smallest portion of salade. At noon, they didn't have any jerk chicken or ackee & salt fish. So what do you have exactly?
I think it's run by different owners now. I'm never going back & i do not recommend. I used to love that place.

Adero & the team are amazing they got delicious oxtail ordered for a few families & they were all very happy

Previous:

I grew up in the area, & I am still a local here. Been eating from curry house for quite some time. The quality & taste in previous years were so so to underwhelming.

Lately its been really really good!!! Their quality in taste has definitely improved. Even their patty is real proper too.

Keep it up!!

The food here use to be out of this world, we use to go here every Monday for the bone-in roti special, but their quality has significantly gone down. Get a bone in roti with just bones, no meat on the bones... Curry sometimes tastes a few days old... & the service is just terrible, rude, not courteous at all, if you forget something in your order, she will roll her eyes at you & add it to your order... If you're passing by picking up lunch for a few, she will give you a fuss about making multiple bills, she has even refused to do so. Stopped going to this caribbean spot, not impressed by the service or food.

Great food, great prices & decent portions.

It's nothing fancy, but it's nice to go in the summer, have a few drinks & some good food. Sometimes in the summer, they have a DJ which adds to the ambiance, it feels like you're in the south.

It's a great time, what more could you ask for?
I would recommend it to anyone who likes Caribbean food

i am of caribbean descent, recently went with some coworkers of different nationalites & have to say we all enjoyed our various meals. very tasty & very reasonably priced. i myself have been going there for many years already because of the tasty food. anyone visiting montreal always hear about caribbean curry house & wants to go & are not disappointed. not feeling like a meal, go for a snack or drink & hang out listening to the caribbean music. they have been around for along time 25+years, & that is for a reason, they know about caribbean cuisine!

C'est très bon! j'y suis allée plusieurs fois & vais y retourner tout au menu est bon..j'ai rien a dire...c'est pas un resto chic..c'est juste une place relax avec de la bonne bouffe
Il faut commander au comptoire & ensuite aller s'asseoir..
