My friends whom I haven't seen in years & I were here for lunch. Opening time is 11am but they didn't open till 12:10
We waited in the patio
Manager said there was a issue with electricity. Explanation accepted. No apologies though.
Manager was very rude & condescending. I asked him what is this menu in the picture in the menu Board & he replied ,' a picture'
Standing infront of him to order,he didn't say anything.
I ordered & he replied,'I'm not ready'
So say something.
Food was served lukewarm & no plantain. No explanation why there's no plantain. So we asked.No explanation except,NO PLANTAIN today 🤔
This restaurant has been around for years, A rude Manager is really a turn off.
We're not going back to this place.

Repas ok mais service vraiment 0. Pas de plantain dans leurs plats pourtant écrit dans leurs menu, pas de salades non plus pourtant écrit dans leur menu.

Je ne sais pas ce qui s'est passé, si le proprietaire est en vacances mais hier soir, j'ai commander un jerk ,un oxtail & un roti. Le Roti etait bon mais les 2 assietes, no so much. Le riz etait trop cuit & fait avec ce qui semblait etre des lentilles. Pas un Rice & Peas. Aucune bananes(sweet plantain) & la salade ressemblait à des pikliz.( salade de choux epicée) pas une salade verte à quoi je m'attendais. Ca fait au moins 15 ans que je vais à ce resto pour ces plats spécifiques & rien ne goutait comme d'habitude. This is an institution for Trini food. Very dissapointed. Not sure I'll be back after this experience. 👎

The food here is very flavourful. Great spot for some Caribbean flavour. Portions are fair for the price also. Service was ok - the girl serving us wasn't impolite but lacked warmth in her service. I got the platter which was supposed to come with sides. She mentioned they were out of sides & I would get plantain instead. Mind you, this was in substitute of two sides - but I only got a few pieces of plantain. So I would have gotten more food if they simply were not out of the sides which I didn't find totally fair, it's not my fault they ran out so why am I getting less food? Other than that hiccup, I did enjoy my experience here.

It's was gross. The stew chicken tasted like BBQ sauce & sugar, & they're was barely any chicken in it. The rices & peas were tasteless & I only had 3 peas on my plate. They give you one piece of plantain & the smallest portion of salade. At noon, they didn't have any jerk chicken or ackee & salt fish. So what do you have exactly?
I think it's run by different owners now. I'm never going back & i do not recommend. I used to love that place.
