As a chef and restaurateur, my approach definitely bridges both European and North American traditions. This is not unlike what so appeals to me about Montreal, a city that embodies this mix of cultures perfectly and makes me feel I'm not far from my own home town of Lyon,” he added.

We dined at Maison Boulud, & our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the beautiful outdoor space, to the incredible service, & the fantastic food. Our waiter Julien was absolutely phenomenal - friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. The entire wait staff was wonderful. I can honestly say it was the best service we've had in Montreal in years. Bonus points for the personalized message on our dessert to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely be back very soon!

Came here for both their lunch special & their dinner tasting menu.
The lunch special is definitely worth it. For 50$, you get an entree, a main meal & a dessert along with their bread service & their madeleine at the end. Everything is fresh & delicious.
Their dinner menu has more services but is also way more expensive.
The inside is beautiful & it's the perfect place for a nice meal with friends & family.

The service was impeccable
The food delicious & perfectly presented. We were expecting small portions but we were wrong, portions were perfect.
We had a table in the beautiful garden & the weather was ideal to sit out & enjoy a great meal.
The glass room & indoor restaurant seatings were full as well.
Staff was so friendly & accommodating.
Beautiful smiles & greetings from the hostess right at the entrance to a friendly & personalized service from our waitress Lina. Very hands on & attentive.
A must try, we strongly recommend this restaurant.

Exceptionnel. Cuisine haut de gamme. Mais, au delà, on a goûté à un monde auquel nous n'appartenons pas mais où nous sommes immédiatement sentis faire parti. Julien notre serveur était connaisseur compréhensif , accommodant, il a fait des miracles avec les restrictions alimentaires. Il était drôle, naturel, parfait. La sommelière a trouvé LE vin qui contentait toues les préférences contradictoires tout en restant dans nos gammes. Soirée exceptionnelle.

We visited there as one of our friend suggested. This place is a just awesome, food was really good, atmosphere is just beyond words. Our server, Aimelene suggested us food & made us feel comfortable, so welcoming that made our visit worth it. 10/10 for everything.

What an amazing restaurant! I have been wanting to come here for months & my expectations were on point. Beautiful, cozy & chic restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The food & cocktails are great. My favorites were the oriental cosmo, the coulant & the homemade tomato focaccia. Thank you to the amazing staff & the manager Valentine for having me. They also have a wonderful garden in the back with ducks 🐥, which is very cute. Will go back !

Nous sommes allés un dimanche à l'heure du brunch. Le cadre est élégant & l'ambiance très agréable. Le steak était excellent selon mon amie, mais mon plat de poisson manquait d'équilibre : la moutarde dominait trop les saveurs.
Un insecte s'est retrouvé dans l'un de nos mocktails. La serveuse a remplacé le verre après 10 minutes, mais sans excuse ni geste commercial, ce qui est décevant pour un établissement de ce niveau.
Malgré tout, le service est resté professionnel & nous avons laissé un pourboire de 50$. Une belle expérience dans l'ensemble, mais certains détails pourraient être mieux pris en charge.

This restaurant is heavily overrated. It borrows on the reputation of the RITZ-CARLTON hotel, but that's where it stops. This food is good quality but nothing that you could not find any other good restaurants in Montreal at lower prices. The service is on its appearance, very polite, but almost to the point of condescension. It does not compensate for the fact that the service is very slow, Almost as if this was expected for a high priced restaurant. The decor & atmosphere is like a fancy cafeteria.

Maison Boulud at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal is one of my absolute favorite spots in the city. The French cuisine, led by Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud, is consistently exquisite-elegant, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The service is impeccable. A must-visit for connoisseurs of culinary artistry.

Service was wonderful. We went for the 5-course meal & were very satisfied. Food was tasty, there was a surprise in every dish. The flavors blended very well together. Not an everyday restaurant, however, worth it for special occasions.

Our group of four enjoyed Sunday brunch we had tasty appetizers as well as several choices of entrees from eggs Benedictine with pork belly to Seabream fish. My strawberry tart for dessert was lovely & tasty however the pain Perdue was found to be disappointing. Ambiance & service was 5 stars. Not my my first visit nor will it be my last.

I didn't have high expectations for the hotel restaurant, but lunch turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The three-course menu was just $50 per person, which felt like great value.
The standout dishes were:
1. Chilled soup with honeydew melon & cucumber - light, refreshing, & perfectly balanced.
2. Catch of the day with artichoke purée, bok choy, & a virgin tomato-piquillo sauce - I was lucky it was sea bass, my favorite. The skin was perfectly crisp, & the fish itself was fresh & delicately seasoned.
It's not the most inventive menu, but the quality & price make it well worth trying.

Mes invités & moi nous sommes réunis au début de juin pour le déjeuner à la Maison Boulud. Je recommande au plus haut point cet établissement, qui allie perfection & raffinement gastronomique. Tous les plats que nous avons commandés - la dorade au premier chef - étaient exquis, avec une touche novatrice dans les accompagnements. Le service a été assuré par une équipe de professionnels, qui a su imprimer un rythme parfait tout au long de notre repas. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les recommandations du sommelier qui a réussi un accord parfait entre les plats & les vins, & ce, en nous faisant découvrir des vins auxquels personne de notre groupe n'était familier. En résumé, le déjeuner à la Maison Boulud s'est révélé une magnifique expérience gastronomique. Merci à toute l'équipe!
