My wife & I have been loyal patrons of The Main Kitchen in Hudson for many years, even hosting her 50th birthday celebration there nine years ago. We've always appreciated the great experiences & warm atmosphere the restaurant offered. Unfortunately, during our visit last night & the last, we found the ambiance had changed significantly. The noise level was so high that it was nearly impossible to carry on a conversation with our friends, & the dining area was uncomfortably cold, even with the blankets provided. While we understand that restaurants evolve, these changes have taken away from what made The Main Kitchen so special to us. We hope management takes this feedback into account to bring back the comfort & charm we used to love about this place.
Had an amazing experience here at Main Kitchen! Food was delicious, people were super nice & welcoming. Bryanna took care of us & Sarah made the best food. Amazing staff!
Main Kitchen is truly a hidden gem in Hudson, & it's worth every bit of the trip! Their menu is packed with creative, flavorful dishes that never disappoint. I especially love the small plates concept-it's perfect for trying a variety of their tasty options. Each dish feels original, thoughtfully prepared, & bursting with flavor. & as a bonus, it's BYOW, which just adds to the experience. Can't believe I waited this long to write this review, but after countless amazing meals, it's time to give them the praise they deserve. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!
We were absolutely entranced watching Jay & Sara work. The food is outstanding. The service lovely. A new favorite! Thank you!!

Good food but tiny. It's a nice place to have a chat with friends. You can bring your wine or beer but don't go if you're hungry
Great food but BEWARE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES I know I'm writing this review way after the fact but I've been thinking about this for so long that I feel like I need to get it out there. I went with my husband & parents in August 2023 & we made it clear from the start that my husband is allergic to fish. We were very careful to check that what we were ordering did not contain fish & were reassured that it did not. Yet it's lucky that I taste food for my husband as the first dish we received had anchovies in it & I could taste it. When I asked they confirmed & apologized. We figured it's okay they made one mistake. & yet we ordered a main dish to share & once again one of the sauces had anchovies. Normally if something like this happens someone should have come to the table to apologize & we would be given that dish free or something to make up for this big mistake that could have been life threatening. But nothing happened. We paid the whole bill & nobody came to talk to us. It was like « oops sorry » & not taken seriously. I really like the food here so it pains me to write this but we will never be going back. I've even seen other reviews that struggled with allergies.
Le menu pourrait être rafraîchi, après quelques visites on a fait le tour. Lors de notre visite nous avons trouvé le service seulement adéquat, la seule serveuse était débordée.
Très bonne bouffe & original. Assis au bar on peu admirer l'aisance de l'artiste culinaire à l'oeuvre. Très bon service. Quantité petite mais qui invite davantage à la dégustation. Ambiance un bruillante mais qui va avec le style de l'établissement. J'en parlerais en bien. 😊 ♥️
Food was ok but you guys telling us the tipping at 18% is mandatory is wrong.. tipping is optional! The waitress wouldn't let me change the tip to 15% & she put it back at 18% on her Interac machine! Plus she made me pay 18% on the price with taxes in.
This is one of our all time favourite restaurants - never had a bad meal there! The menu items are creative, & delicious. You can always find something tasty on the specials board as well. Love that the kitchen is open concept so you can watch the chefs prepare everything - it really is an art. Plus, the fact that it's BYOB is a big plus ;)
Delicious food, a foodie's dream! Care & attention to the preparation of each item. Love the Caesar salad with pork belly & beet carpaccio!!!

This is our go to for date nights, birthdays, girls nights, all dinners out ! The food is always delicious & its a great spot with a great lounge/bar next door! Plus its byob! Cant go wrong with that!
Très belle expérience! Menu varié, plats succulents & originaux, service courtois, ambiance chaleureuse & feutrée sans oublier qu'on apporte notre vin! Une facture honnête...Bravo & Merci à l'équipe du Main Kitchen
