I hosted 5 for dinner & everything was fantastic. If you want seafood, there is no better place in Montreal. Top quality, friendly & knowledgeable service & a fair price.View more
Great place with an amazing atmosphere great for a little date night, fair pricesView more
Very good seafood for a really good price! $7 cocktails on Thursdays are great too! Check this place outView more
I liked this place & my review considers the price range. It's not the highest quality cooking but pretty good for the price. I ordered seared scallops, spicy shrimp with black garlic, scallop pineapple ceviche, Cesar salad, grilled asparagus, seared tuna (tataki). All of them were good. Thursday shared portions are actually great not to share.View more
Great variety of oysters to choose from, friendly staff, it was nice to have the waitress being bilingual & very kind & considerate. The bar tender made amazing cocktails the gin & lavender was absolutely marvelous. We went on Thursday for the sharing menu lots to choose from & was reasonably price. Food tasted great we had the Cajun mussles, malpeque oysters on the shell, mussels with cream white wine & garlic & asparagus with chilli. All fantastic dishes. Would highly recommend to visit this restaurant.View more
What a great find! We searched online for a place for dinner & are glad we came. The oysters were magnifique & the drinks were cheap. We recommend the shrimp piri-piri & the clam chowder. Friendly staff & great prices.View more
Wonderful date night menu! Oysters & Prosecco for a good price.View more
The seafood pasta had plenty of delicious seafood but the actual pasta was a very simply white sauce, some herbs would have been great. Clam chowder was tasty but once again heavy on the cream with nothing special about it, especially for that price.View more
Food really good, worth the price. 10 outta 10. Waiter Enrique was really patient & his service was more than great.View more
I always assumed because of the decor & location that everything was going to be VERY expensive. Wrong. We initially saw the 1.50$ oysters & planned to get a dozen + a drink & leave however the man in charge, Enrique, was super attentive, helpful, & charming right from the get go & we ended up staying for hours trying wines & getting items from their tapas menu. Great ambience, some light music but not too loud you could easier talk, nice decor. Extremely reasonable prices & quality food as well. Whether you're a group of college kids looking for a place to get a drink & some inexpensive plates to share or a couple looking for something a little fancier, they have it. I can't believe I walked by this place so many times & never came in. Great experience. Enrique & Maestro's chef even asked our opinions on new items they were adding to the menu that they had us try. We're planning on getting a group of friends together to try everything on the tapas menu, get some of the higher end dishes, get some of their pricier oysters (mmmm) &... maybe also exhaust their wine list!View more
Without a doubt the best meal my partner & I have ever had, & we truly deserved it for the price we paid. We were very surprised when our bill totalled around $500 because we ordered the king crab at "market price" & weren't prepared for what that entails. There are so many options of oysters to try & they were all incredibly good. Management was responsive when I emailed to tell them about my experience. However they had stated they would make their prices clearer on their website & upon browsing today, I see that they haven't. I understand that market price varies. A price range would suffice. I do plan to return on future visits to the city.View more
Loved it! Took the wife, she's a huge oyster lover/connoisseur, so she got to pick from many different oysters from different places. She's a picky one, & if they made her very happy, let me tell you, they MUST be good! I'm not much of an expert on sea food so I got my wife to pick platters for us to try, & I must say, the choices are very versatile. You can have anything done any way you want it, whether you want it raw, baked, fried, cooked, or even in a shot!! Prices are not cheap, but definitely worth the experience. The only reason Im giving the service 4 stars is bacause it was a little overpacked, or maybe they were just missing a waiter that night, so it took a little more time & the staff looked a bit rushed, but our actual waitress was great, absolutely no complaints there. Again, loved it!
This place is totally amazing. Everything is well thought down to the last detail. The layout, the design, the food, the service. The location is very good too but if you are going by car, you should consider parking your car at a private parking.
The other negative thing is that while some menu items are relatively well prices, especially given the prime location, other menu items are simply out of whack. I don't even want to give you hints because it is so obvious that you will see it yourself.
The service is good but little slow once you order the food. So the best thing is to order it & not wait. Good thing I was with my BF so we ordered it & started talking about stuff... this way you don't realize the time you have to wait.
Anyhow, the place is totally cool...not to miss!
