One of the most upscale lounge places in Montreal with decent prices. The place literally makes you think that you won't be able to handle your bill but for the quality of the place, the bill comes pretty affordable. We were fortunate to have reserved the room at Place D'Arme,placed next to 701 and combined together, these two places give the best upscale combination ever. The best combination of an upscale boutique hotel and a resto-bar in town at an affordable price. Other places are simply not enough upscale (Neligan) or too expensive (Saint=James)

This place is totally amazing. Everything is well thought down to the last detail. The layout, the design, the food, the service. The location is very good too but if you are going by car, you should consider parking your car at a private parking. The other negative thing is that while some menu items are relatively well prices, especially given the prime location, other menu items are simply out of whack. I don't even want to give you hints because it is so obvious that you will see it yourself. The service is good but little slow once you order the food. So the best thing is to order it and not wait. Good thing I was with my BF so we ordered it and started talking about stuff... this way you don't realize the time you have to wait. Anyhow, the place is totally cool...not to miss!
