We recently celebrated our son Connor's 30th birthday at MacTavern, & it exceeded all of our expectations. The private party room was perfect for our group, creating a warm & fun atmosphere for the celebration.

The food was outstanding, & the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, & made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. They truly went above & beyond to make our event special.

We couldn't have been happier with the entire experience & would highly recommend MacTavern for anyone planning a private event or special celebration. Thank you for helping make Connor's 30th birthday such a memorable occasion!

MacTaverne is a fantastic restaurant! Tim & his team are so friendly & the food is delicious. Also, their Guinness is hands down the best in town.

I would highly recommend for any locals or tourists looking for a casual night out.

We had a wonderful dinner here on a busy Sunday night. The service was first rate & the food was outstanding. The appetizer of tuna tartare was my favourite & then I had steak cooked to perfection.

Tim & the team at Mactaverne Pub have created a truly special atmosphere that feels like home from the moment you walk in. We celebrated my brother-in-law's 30th birthday there, & our large group was seated in their stunning private room, which made the evening even more memorable.

The staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming, & genuinely friendly throughout the night. Every dish seemed to outdo the last-the Scotch eggs, piri piri chicken, & sticky toffee pudding were all absolute 10/10s.

From the warm hospitality to the outstanding food, everything exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back, & I can't recommend this special place highly enough!

Stayed for one night & had the best sleep.
Perfect little room & a delicious breakfast.
For dinner in the restaurant we had the fish & chips which were top notch.
Very welcoming & friendly staff.
Highly recommend for a meal or a nights stay.

We had a phenomenal dinner last night, as the atmosphere, food amd service was outstanding! Our server Charles was really attentive, professional, & with great recommendations. The NY strip was sensational & the wings were incredible! Cant wait to be back!

A delightful place to stay on the P'tit Train du Nord & a short walk to the iconic 1001 Pots in Val-David.
Comfortable room, friendly & considerate hosts, & a great restaurant. We would want to stay there again.
