We got a small poutine & small flan au caramel. A lot of Portuguese chicken, chorizo & cheese curbs in the poutine, more than fries. Not easy to find parking in Plateau Mont-Royal so we ate at a nearby park. Small poutine is 13$. For 5$ more, you can get a large one which is twice the size but a small one is plenty for 2 persons. 3,50$ for the flan. Must try in Montreal. Forgot to take a picture before eating. Poutine was filled to the top.

We stopped by Ma Poule Mouillée for lunch during a day in Montreal. We ordered the #8 poutine dish & asked for it spicy (large order). Service was fairly quick & seating was available (offseason, after prime lunch hours). The dish was served in a tin container with a covered top so you can take it on the go if you wish. The serving size was more than enough for two people. The temperature of the food was okay. For it being prepared right there, I was expecting the food to be hotter than it was. It was just warm & the cheese wasn't all melted very much. The flavor of the chicken & chorizo in the gravy was great! I wish there had been more of it mixed in to the dish. Overall, it was good, but a few things could have made it much better! Still worth a try if you're in the area.
Great place for portuguese chicken, wish I had room to try their poutine (apparently it's very good). I'll have to come back soon to try it. There'a a door to enter & one to exit, you order near the grill, there'a 3 holes to speak with the staff. They offer desserts & bread (so that you can soak up the juices & sauce). During summer, you can take out & bring it to the big park nearby & have a picnic.
I wouldn't say it was one of the best poutine I had, but definitely, it's not a bad one either. Even though it was not up to my expectations, the chicken was amazing, & gravy was quite different with a smoky flavor.
The poutine at Ma Poule Mouillée is one of the best I have ever had - starting with a perfect poutine as a base & adding Portuguese chicken & chorizo cooked over charcoal...can't go wrong. There is a LOT going on but it is a great balance of everything. At $14 the small is PLENTY of food for one person & an incredible value for the amount of meats they put on. I have also tried a few of their baked goods (natas, flan, croissant) & always been impressed.

A Montreal must visit. One of the best chicken joints in the city & tough to beat on value for money. Would recommend their chicken sandwich or the iconic poutine.
La poutine au poulet & au chorizo est bonne. J'ai été déçu du sandwich... c'est vraiment du pain avec du poulet, rien d'autre. Le poulet était froid également.

I think it is the best poutine i've ever had, the reason being only 4 stars is because I wish the fries are warmer. BUT THE CHICKEN IS SO SO SO DELICIOUS. I absolutely recommend it to everyone. If you are going with another friend. I recommend getting the large size. It is plenty for two. Even might have leftovers, despite I literally cannot stop eating it.
Nous avons tenté de suivre la tendance & d'essayer la poutine mais ce fût une déception totale. Les frites étaient sec, la sauce sans goût, les saucisses étaient molles & les morceaux de poulet étaient trop gros qui nous cause un gâchis à essayer de les couper. De plus nous avons pris un plat quart de poulet & la sauce a été oublié, malheureusement on s'en ait rendu compte une fois de retour sur la rive-sud. Le seule point positif était le service & la portion.

Amazing poutine. The line at La Banquise was too long, came here instead after seeing comments on Reddit from locals who strongly recommended. The large poutine is huge, only order it if you're sharing or have an enormous appetite. Some of the best chicken I've ever had!! & the natas are good too!!!
Holy wow, the chicken is delicious! I can't really speak for the poutine because it was below the chicken. Ordering & such is a bit confusing, especially if you don't speak French
