The poutine here was so, so good. The chicken & chorizo were elite, the cheese curds squeaky, & the fries didn't get soggy with the gravy until over 20 min after. I'd have to come back to get just the chicken too. The egg tarts were really good, comparable to what I've had in Portugal.
La poutine portugaise est un classique à cet endroit! $18 pour une énorme poutine à partager pour 2-3 personnes. Les taxes sont incluses dans tous les items du menu. Beaucoup de poulet & de chorizo dans la poutine. Le restaurant est très petit donc c'est mieux de prendre à emporter & de manger dans le parc Lafontaine.

Great portion size & good service. The food was all very flavourful. We ordered the chicken poutine, chicken was so tender & seasoned. The fries were good & good amount of cheese curds. Poutine also had sausage (Chorizo) bits in the plate which didn't have much flavour, borderline dry. It is a nice addition but it does not add much to the dish. We ordered a half chicken meal which came with salad & fries. The chicken was fall off the bone. We could not finish the meal as it was just so much food. Nothing special with the salad, chicken is the star here.
Absolutely loved this place. I know a lot of people say that the actual place to go is La Banquise which is across the street from there but after watching many YouTube videos a lot of people had said that this was the more local attracted establishment for poutine. We got the poutine with roasted chicken & smoked sausage. The fries were crispy, the gravy was smooth & tasty, & the cheese curds were on point. The entirety of the flavor of this dish was amazing, & I literally can't wait to get back there the next time I'm in Montreal. Very friendly & helpful staff. I will tell you don't make the mistake that I did, & which I watched a few other people do is don't try to pull the door open, push it open, LOL.
Cela fait 5 ans je viens de temps en temps pour un petit plaisir avec du poulet, une poutine & des pasteis de natas. Mais avec le temps je trouve que la qualité se degrade... ce soir les frites étaient très sèches & le chorizo froid. Je redonnerai certainement une chance mais de si tôt car j'ai même été un peu malade ce soir. Peut etre qu'ils pourraient augmenter un peu les prix pour maintenir la qualité.

Must try their chicken sandwich or their chicken & chorizo poutine. Delish & filling! The long line is worth the wait every time & I've been coming here for years.
C'est l'un des endroits les plus couru de Montréal mais à mesure que le temps passe, c'est à se demander pourquoi... J'y vais une fois par an & ça ne s'améliore pas. J'y suis allé aujourd'hui, c'était légèrement occupé pour un mardi après-midi. En arrivant j'ai été ignoré pendant plusieurs minutes par les employés qui semblaient avoir mieux à faire que de prendre une nouvelle commande. Pour vrai je ne sais pas ce qu'elle attendait au-delà de me regarder. La petite poutine (14$) était tiède. Le chorizo très froid. Je n'ai pas remarqué la sauce piquante que j'avais demandée (?). Le poulet était majoritairement gélatineux. C'était au mieux "ben ordinaire". Point positif, le pos de paiement ne demande pas de pourboire; ce qui semble à contre courant en 2024. Possiblement que les employés sont payés correctement, tant mieux. Bref, surtout si vous visitez Montréal, vous pouvez mourir en paix advenant que vous n'avez pas le temps de vous arrêter ici.
This is one of the best places in Montreal for portugese chicken, not comparable to Rama*os. Also, the poutine is much better than the specialized place across the street. The only negative is that it gets very busy but completely understandable.
Only tried the poutine & a pastel de nata here. Poutine was rich, salty, & satisfying. The chicken inside was excellent & tender. Pastel was surprisingly still crispy despite being refrigerated.
J'avais écrit un texte super long & détaillé mais Google l'a supprimé. Donc en gros, grande poutine 18$ttc, une seule option de poutine, le poulet est très bon mais vaut mieux le prendre sans la poutine. La rentabilité est pas contre imbattable, merci la générosité portugaise. Je vous conseille donc l'endroit mais pas pour la poutine. Ne vous rabattez pas sur La Banquise svp, de bien meilleurs endroits existent (Patati Patata, Chez Claudette). PS: les pastels de nata donnent très envie.
C'était correct pour une 1ere fois à cet endroit... Je m'attendais à un BIG WOW chic mais nope!!! Par contre le goût était très bon, les portions excellentes, j'aurai aimé être capable d'avoir de l'eau sans avoir à payer pour chaque bouteilles car j'aurais bu au moins 3 verres car je n'ai pas l'habitude de mangé épicé "mild hot". Je n'ai pas pris leur supposée fameuse sauce (autre que la normale qui est dans la poutine) j'avais la bouche qui chauffait mais ça ne brûlait pas... J'ai demandé à avoir une cuisse de poulet car je voulais goûter à leurs produits tout seul & j'ai reçu la petite boîte pleine de poulet (il y avait au moins 3-4 morceaux) Le seul hic majeur est que nous provenions de l'extérieur de la région de Montréal & moi perso je n'ai aucune habitude/ aptitudes/compréhension de cette ville que j'essaie généralement de contourner à tout prix lol leurs mille & une pancarte de NO PARKING/ NO PARKING TEL JOURS/ NO PARKING DE TELLE DATE À TELLE DATE/ ZONE #32/ #57/etc... Rend la possibilité de stationner aux environs presque impossible... Nous nous sommes stationner sur St-Hubert près d'un coin de rue il était près de 20h30... Nous avons passé à un cheveu près d'abandonner le projet d'aller manger là... Nous sommes, par contre, arrivés à un moment parfait où la ligne d'attente était raisonnable & que l'on a pu manger à l'intérieur car sur notre départ vers 21h15 la lignée était rendue dehors... En passant, leurs frites sont vraiment très bonnes
