Not for me. I had the breakfast sandwich & it made me want to gag. It's the pastrami inside. It's a flavor combination that does not work for me. & it was sweet. It was too much but you might like it. Everything was fresh. The potatoes that came with the dish were crisps, well seasoned & flavorful. Staff was great. Vibe is retro. It's a small place, hard to get too but if you live in the hood you should check it out. They have other things. Maybe this will be for you. I'm rooting for them.
Sat at a booth with coffee & got the breakfast sandwich. Had 3 or 4 coffees, each of them refilled before I reached the bottom. Server was kind & a great conversationalist. It's the kind of place I wish I owned but am just as happy to eat at. 5/5
Simple food well executed with quality local ingredients. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood!. We got the fried chicken sandwich & the bacon tomato sandwich, both were tasty.
Service is friendly & efficient, 💯 recommended. Prices are also surprisingly reasonable & include taxes. Cash only.

This was Our first experience with food from montreal & it didn't disappoint. The coffee tasted fresh even though we came in the afternoon. The jjs breakfast & everything was seasoned just right with light fluffy eggs & crispy bacon & a bite from the sausage. The pancake came with apple compote & goat cheese & was phenominal. The sweetness of the apple complimented the goat cheese on top of a slightly firm but very fluffy pancake. The fried chicken sandwich was honestly the best one I've ever had. The atmosphere here felt so welcoming & homly. This place is definitely some where you have to come when visiting Montréal.

Cute 1950s style diner in NDG. We had their breakfast sandwich with homestyle potatoes. It was good but for a more expensive knockoff of Cosmos creation sandwich you're better off just going to Cosmos.
The platonic ideal Montreal diner. Good simple ingredients prepared perfectly. A rare 5 star review for a diner that does everything right & to the point. We've tried almost everything & it's all been great. The pancakes are dialed in perfectly, the breakfast sandwich is unbeatable & the salads are lovely too. The coffee is exactly what it should be & nothing more. It's not cheap, but watching the care that goes into each plate & the flawless (if simple & classic) execution makes it worth it. Honestly in the running for one of the best diners in city (& we've got some good ones!)
Everything about this place is a solid 5/5. Food is delicious & not overpriced. Staff is very friendly & the place feels like a little dinner. Not located in the nicest neighborhood & the capacity is quite small, but once you are inside & eating none of that matters. Recommend the beans, sausage & breakfast sandwich. Pancakes need a bit of work (too dry) but not bad by any means. Will be back again.

This place is like a really upscale Cosmos. The breakfast sandwich is incredible (coming from a guy that typically isn't all that impressed by breakfast sandwiches).
Gréât little old school breakfast/brunch spot. Many breakfast type items & many lunch type items. I had the breakfast sandwich & my friend had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious & fresh!! Would recommend for a nice little casual brunch if you are in the area.
While the restaurant wasn’t much to look at from the outside the food & service was amazing. I got the pancakes with blueberries & ricotta. My friends got the breakfast sandwich & friend chicken sandwich. Everyone loved their meals.
It’s cash only but they do have an ATM machine inside. Lots of street parking was available. There was zero wait time on a Saturday at 10:30 am.

Whether you have a juicy, greasy burger or a delectable breakfast sandwich including a fried egg with your bottomless coffee we're sure you'll love it as much as we did.
We also loved the vintage diner decor & the old fridge, radio & the cutest salt & pepper shakers
