Had the chicken sandwich, it was tasty & fresh. It's a good casual sandwich place with tasty & authentic marinade. Go have a look!
You're hungry you're at Notre Dame Ouest walking the streets next to Épicerie Lulu. You must absolutely get a sandwich here or grilled pita. It's absolutely delicious with a good kick with the spices as well. Bless this store & their food.
Wow sincèrement un des meilleurs shawarma de Montréal, goût super authentique, on a adoré, seul bémol le ratio quantité/ prix, le sandwich poulet était minuscule d'où les 4 étoiles.
Really like this place. Had the cheese manoushe & chicken shawarma. The manoushe was thin crust & properly made, the shawarma was perfect, also really generous with the amount of chicken in the sandwich.
Very nice atmosphere. The sound system is amazing. The sandwiches are tasty the food is fresh & daily prepared from scratch. The team is friendly & bilingual. I would highly recommend this place.
Incredible sandwiches & potatoes! Got there pretty close to closing & they were out of shawarma, but the kafta sandwich was really good. Garlic potatoes were incredible, super fresh & crispy with a spicy oil & great garlic sauce. The place is really brightly lit & the staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming. They gave me a free water cup without making me buy a bottle which I appreciated!
Idk maybe I just was here on a bad day. Dry & not so warm chicken & beef shawarma sandwiches.. Underwhelming..
One of the best sandwiches in the city. Absolutely delicious, juicy meat & beautiful accompaniments. Perfect.
The best lunch spot in St. Henri. From the tasty shawarma with perfectly grilled bread to the most fresh manakish - Lulu is a must. My personal favourites are the chicken shawarma sandwich & the lahme baajin manakesh but everything is a slam dunk from Lulu.
I consider this shop to be one of the best expressions captured by an affordable food establishment in the city & province (& perhaps country). Yet I've been reluctant return for a few months now, ever since Michael left. Mike picked up the community from where Youssef left it. It's been a smooth relay thus far. But the memory of the chicken shawarma overpowered me today. I went in with my family, & the Michael/Youssef sized hole was not filled. It's a high bar, but a necessary one to meet, if Lulu continues to aspire to be a home away from home. Right now, it is not that. Right now, it's slinging the best shawarmas you can possibly eat in North America, that is certain. Somehow, they've made their shawarma sandwich better. Yes, I'll be the first to admit that the quality control of Lulu can at times be as unstable as the Quebecois government (especially the manakish), but when you come in at the right occasion, it doesn't get any better. Is Lulu a 5/5 food establishment? After today, no doubt. I didn't realize that the food alone could carry Lulu to greatness. Does Lulu aim to be more than a food provider? Evidently yes. So despite how impossible it may seem, finding the second-coming of Michael/Youssef is urgent.
Had their Zaatar extra (with veggies), their cheese, & cheese & zaatar mankouche! The dough is light, delicious, & has the perfect crunch to it. Their cheese mix is to die for - tastes like the one back in Lebanon. Can't wait to come back & try their Shawarma & grill sandwiches!
The most perfect authentic Lebanese sandwiches in Montreal! Everything was fresh & delicious! The Shawarma Poulet divine. As was a variety of the mannkeesh we tried. Highly recommend you visit when in the area.
Food was delicious, generous portions & filling. Employees were very friendly & helpful. There were tables to sit down but we got take out. We ordered a mixed grill platter & some sandwiches & they cut them up to make it easy for us all to eat & share.
Ce n'est malheureusement pas du très bon libanais & les sandwich sont assez mince. Mais on a eu un bon service
Meilleur service & saveurs incroyables dans mes préférés sandwich à Montréal
Very bad experience ! We chose to eat sandwiches - very small portions - price too expensive ! I dont recommend this place - no place even to sit !
Awesome place to pick up a Lebanese sandwich or anything grilled! They make their pitas fresh from dough baked in their oven, & it comes out beautifully puffed before they fill it with piping grilled meats. Worth a try & you definitely get a bang for your buck. It doesn't seem like it in the pictures, but the decor & vibe of the place is "Lebanese street food" where you can also pickup some drinks, & marinated meats. Great to try for bbq season ;)
Food was good but I'm not gonna get into the details here as I just couldn't handle the guy wrapping the sandwiches with his bare hands !! You should have seen the guy walking through the place with a big pile of Pickels in his bare hand, absolutely disgusting, I'm not sure how other people accept that, not coming again no matter how good the food is.
