We went here for a team dinner & all of us were more than happy with our meals. I had their cedar plank salmon as the entrée with an arctic char & salmon tartare with plantains as the appetizer. One of my colleagues had lamb chops with a side of mushrooms. The service was prompt & the waitress kept checking up on us.Voir plus
Was in town visiting from Toronto. Lucille's restaurant was recommended & boy, what a great recommendation it was. Our server was Carla, I think we got the best server in Montreal as our care taker. I say care taker because she took such good care of us that I can't say enough good things about her. I hope her boss realizes what a great person he/she has working for them. Amazing dining experience! It was our first time at this restaurant & it did not disappoint. Our table had the beef carpaccio (a few bites were eaten before picture was taken), caesar salad, tuna nicoise (the nicoise was moved a bit before picture was taken), maple glazed salmon & mediterranean sea bass filet, all were incredibly good. Everyone enjoyed their meal thoroughly. We got our appetizers relatively quickly but we were given enough time to enjoy them before we received the main course, which was nice as we didn't feel rushed. The level of service we received was impeccable & our waiter was very pleasant. Great atmosphere & decor. There are so many things on the menu we want to try, we will definitely be back at Lucille's Fairview. Thank you very much for a great evening, amazing service & the delicious meal. I recently visited Lucille's & had an amazing experience. I loved the vibe of the restaurant & of course the delicious food (I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower appetizer!!!) Their raw or cold dishes are the best they have to offer, followed by their drinks. Their ribs, lamb & steaks are okay. While proteins are generally fine, what lets the dishes down are the accompaniments, sides & sauces. Service is very inconsistent with the waitstaff at other nearby restaurants being much better. I had a fantastic first experience at Lucille's! Despite the restaurant being busy, we were promptly greeted. I tried the Mediterranean seabass filet, recommended by our amazing waitress, Maya, & absolutely loved it. Maya's friendly & attentive service truly made the night special. Super quick service, oysters are fabulously presented with an exquisite horseradish or wine vinegar échalotte dip. Grilled half octopus salad always insanely perfect.
