It's been quite some time since I have eaten at one of the Lucille's restaurants & it was my first visit to this location.
The decor is modern & the atmosphere is inviting. When entering the premises you are greeted by huge slabs of beef.
Our reservation was for 7 pm on a Friday. It was not very busy, yet the hostess tried to seat us at the worst table near the toilet. Ya, not happening.
Once we got to another place to sit, we ordered IPAs & dinner.
I had the Surf & Turf that consisted of a lobster roll, ribs, & fries. My husband had the Steak & fries. Mine was delicious & a nice size portion but my husband's, even though it was very tasty was a small portion. He walked away hungry.
My order of ribs was tender & fell off the bone but not very meaty. The sauce was tangy & ever so sweet. The bun of the lobster roll was lightly buttered & not overloaded with lobster. Too bad. I was expecting more. I know the prices of food have gone up but charge another $5 & serve a bigger roll.
Service was very friendly, efficient, & quick.
Will I go back? Probably. The food was good.Voir plus

Such a great dinner experience! To start, the $1 oysters are a must! Super fresh & absolutely worth it.
We followed up with two appetizers: the burrata in a creamy truffle aioli & the beef tartare. Both were beautifully presented & delicious.
For mains, we had the lobster rolls & the steak frites with chimichurri. The lobster rolls were delicious as always, served on a soft, buttery brioche bun. The steak was cooked perfectly, & the chimichurri brought everything together with the perfect finishing touch.
The service was fantastic! friendly, attentive, & quick. Overall, a great atmosphere & a menu that doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!Voir plus

I love Lucille's in general, I usually get they lobster rolls from a stand they have at Atwater market during the summer. This time, I went & sat down at a table after a day of shopping at the fairview mall center. So convenient as it's a the same place. We had oysters, fried calamari, the steak & fries & the chicken because we wanted to try their different types of dishes. All of it was delicious honestly. The drinks were quite nice as wellVoir plus

First time at Lucille's for my mother in laws 89th Birthday. The service was outstanding. Ali was super attentive always smiling & quick bringing our meals. The food was OK, the bavette for the steak/ frites could have been tastier, the "jus"was overly salty. The surf & turf is not your traditional piece of steak with a lobster tail. (There is a steak & lobster tail as a separate option) It was a lobster roll & a whole rack of ribs. The lobster roll bun was nicely toasted with good size pieces of lobster..it was missing a bit of flavor. The ribs were tender & juicy & slathered with a sweet/ slightly spicey sauce. The cedar plank maple salmon was perfectly prepared with a nice hint of maple flavor, so I'm told as my mother in law wouldn't share...lol After all it was her birthday diner celebration. We were so full we didn't order dessert, but Ali heard us talking & brought my M.I.L. a piece of cake with a candle. It was so light an delicious!. A++++ for serviceVoir plus

Horrible service & mediocre food. Ordered several dishes to share for the table. The first dish arrived, calamari which was actually delicious, but tiny, then we waited over 45 minutes for anything else to show up while we watched every other table around us get their food. Our waiter passed by our table table several times & never once acknowledged that we were sitting with an empty table. Then at the end it took another 30 minutes to get our bill. The lobster rolls, once they finally showed up were quite good, albeit way overpriced, the crab cakes & salmon tartare however were unappealing, no one in my party cared for them. The cheeseburgers were just ok, would not repeat, lacked seasoning. I've been to Lucille's many times on Monkland, this visit to Fairview was a huge disappointment, & way overpriced for what you get, both in quality & portion size. Stick to the steaks or ribs & you'll be fine.Voir plus

I took out an order for over $180. I ordered the grilled lobster tails which came with a green salad. The menu stated that mine was supposed to come with garlic butter, but there was none in my order. The lobster tails tasted like they dumped a whole salt shaker on them. The salad was the kind that you get in a large container in the grocery store. There was absolutely nothing in the salad except leaves, & the tips of some lettuce pieces were brown & rotting. I just feel that for the amount of money that they charge, they should at least put in a little effort & put some other vegetables in the salad & make sure that it's fresh, & include garlic butter when it's mentioned in the menu. They don't even give you a side potato or anything. I had to cook my own side dish at home after spending all that. It's just a complete rip off in my opinion. People just go there because the name is catchy & they think that it's somehow "trendy". To me, the way that they present themselves is to grab the money, & provide you with the bare minimum. They don't do anything to show that the food is special, or was made with effort, it's just a cash grab. The calamari is better at the Keg. The lobster roll filling was hot packed in with the buns separate. Lobster roll filling is supposed to cold, not hot. The ribs in the surf n turf were nothing special, you can get much better ribs at Baton Rouge. This is the second time that I have dined at Lucille's, & both locations were forgettable, definitely not memorable. I remember when things are good, or outstanding, & this was not it.Voir plus

We had a great experience at Lucille's. The food was high quality, the service was excellent & the atmosphere great as well. The oysters & hot crab dip were delicious. The steak & seafood for the most part was excellent. Out of the 4 meals, the only disappointing thing was the lobster roll (lobster was excellently cooked, but the roll lacked flavour). The Lucille's bloody Caesar's, which we've had before & we're delicious, were just not up to the same quality last night (watery). Overall a good experience.Voir plus

we ordered the lobster rolls which were really good & had a lot of meat - which as any lobster fan knows is the key to success!! the fries were perfect as was the dipping sauce! But my son ordered the salmon which he didn't love & was quite small for the money. Our server was lovely & i liked being seated at the front of the resto (instead of the back) because it isn't as loud. Would definitely go back.Voir plus

I recently enjoyed the surf & turf at Lucille's in Fairview Pointe-Claire, & it was a fantastic dining experience! The lobster roll was packed with fresh, succulent lobster, & the ribs were tender, falling right off the bone with a rich, smoky flavor. The combination of seafood & barbecue was divine, showcasing the kitchen's ability to balance complex flavors. The service was impeccable-attentive & efficient, making the dining experience smooth & enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a great place for a casual lunch or a special dinner. I highly recommend Lucille's to anyone in the Pointe-Claire area looking for a meal that's both delicious & memorable. It's definitely a place I look forward to visiting again!Voir plus

Disappointed with my meal last night. Lobster roll was alright, lacking of flavor. The hot dog bun they used was soaked in butter but not kna. Good way. The ribs are dry I was very disappointed. The BBW sauce.used was good but was tough to eat. The Oysters were alright, what could you expect from a 1$ Oyster but I had never seen such small oysters before. The tartare was good but I found both the beef tartare & the tuna tartare piece too chunky.Voir plus

The food was great. Had the lobster rolls & my partner had the steak frites with shrimp. The service was a little slow at first but we went on a Saturday night...I guess to be expected. The wait staff was very helpful & attentive. We had the 1$ oysters which were also good. The "by the glass" selection for the wine is quite limited, so we opted for a bottle. Now for the price: I think the lobster rolls were a little overpriced however the steak frites was decently priced. The steak was cooked to perfection! I was overall impressed with the quality of the food. Surpassed my expectations. I would definitely go again.Voir plus

I had the lobster rolls. Delicious!!!! At first I thought that it was pricey, but the portions are quite large. Way too many fries though. The waiter was friendly & quick to offer drinks, but he didn't check on the non- alcohol drinkers very often. When our group had all arrived it took a bit before he took our main course order. & since it was busy it was hard to converse with everyone at the table.Voir plus

Not the first time here. Went for an early dinner with friends. Place was maybe 5% full to the 1 main area. (3 seating areas available). $1 Oysters (small) are still a good deal. Oder 100 if you need to, it's still a better deal than $3 oysters. Had the lobsters which came with very basic greens. Lobsters looked like 5oz which are 2/$10 or $15 depending on timing. Smaller than expected for $44 but delicious. Best deal seems to be the Surf & Turf where you get a full rack of ribs (dozen bones), a lobster roll & fries for $38(?). Ribs have the flavour of Baton Rouge. The real disappointer was the calamari coming in at about 9 pieces for $19. Compared to Keg, Baton rouge or Scarollies, you get x2 x2.5 volume for the same price else where. I would order something else. Service was fine starting off because of the empty room, but later that night it took about 15 minutes+ to get a bottle of wine delivered to the table which is the easiest minimum $50 order you can sell. Water replenished & served as needed, no issues with wait staff keeping an eye on your table.Voir plus

Our table enjoyed the new addition to your menu , the fried chicken . 3 of us had steak that was awesome , we all loved the seasoning on the steak . The sweet potato fries are some of the best we have had . The other 3 had the lobster Roll & enjoyed very much . The waiters were attentive & the bus boy was amazing , brought new napkins & cutlery for each course . Everyone enjoyed the appetizers that had , I really loved the Caesar salad, the pickles were a nice touch & I liked that the salad had the right amount of dressing. The hot crab dip was delicious , the oysters were a hit , calamari was great .
Drinks were delivered quickly & the waiter kept the water bottle full . Very great experience .

Octopus tasted more boiled as opposed to grilled, rather disappointing as I had it once before at the restaurant & it was better, even considered sending it back. The Greek salad it came with was ok but the blob of mayo like sauce underneath it was not good & unnecessary. Steaks were good as was lobster rolls. Service was good but will think twice about going again as some of the menu items were not good.

via LibroI asked for a round or square table for 7 - but we got a very long rectangular table. The lobster rolls were very good. I had the clam chowder, which tasted of being left in the fridge, & had WAY too much garlic in it. Then I had the prawn, avocado & ... many onions appetizer. Neither soup nor appetizer were very good. As I was having two appetizers (only), I asked that my chowder be brought out with everybody else's main course - but it was brought first - so as the host, I had soup in front of me for about 8-10 minutes prior to everybody else being served.

Lucille's Fairview is a decent & good place to eat we came here on A Wednesday night. Pros: 1) The food here is absolutely alright & delicious. 2) Our waiter & Servers were kind & always positive. 3) Food was not too long to wait around 20-30 minutes. 4) The Cesar Salad was amazing & it had pickles in it & the dressing was the right amount. 5) The Lamb chops Hamburgers & The Lobster rolls that my we ate & shared are amazing & cooked well. 6 Atmosphere is very nice & it feels like a home. 7) Washrooms are unisex & clean. 8) They have a bar with drinks & a wine list. Cons: 1) Parking might be a challenge. 2) We had only one waiter & some were serving so if it's busy you may have less service. All in all I would come back here again in the near future because the food. Service & everything else were good & top notch. I would recommend you guys try & rate it yourselves.Voir plus
via LibroWe were really looking forward to visiting this new restaurant after having sampled their lobster rolls from their food truck. Not even close, bus boys have no experience removing plates while others are eating at the table. I ordered the ribs neat was dry & loaded with room temperature BBQ says which drenched my fries , the lobster rolls where served with too much mayo that it was too wet & not enough meat. All in all I would not go back. Many other choices in the west island. Waitress was very good & very polite.
