Good is great specially seafoods like oyster, grilled octopus, seafood pasta etc.
Decent grilled not slow roasted prime rib & bland mashed potatoes, nothing rave about. Oysters were mediocre with a cheap side of horseradish I had to adk for. They have a long way to go to be up to par with some of the steak & seafood restaurants in the area.
Every time we come in for dinner with family or for bday parties I have the luxury of being served by Alek or Carla (now we always request their sections) Alek never skips a beat, everything always on point, killer Margaritas! They both have great sense of humour & always such a pleasure!! Carla makes the best recommendations to match the mood for seafood or steak, I just Love these guys, thank you for a perfect experience every single time ;))
a bit noisy when two big parties were sitting around us. Food was very good. I found the seafood chowder very garlicky -& the server kindly changed it for another item.
The food was great; they offer a variety of seafood with high quality.
I dined here on Saturday August 24th at 5PM. We were a party of four & had a great time. I ate at the Brossard location a few weeks ago & wasn't too impressed, however this time it was a real game changer. The restaurant was pretty empty at that time, I prefer eating early since I dislike crowds & enjoy a more quiet atmosphere. If you don't have a reservation you can easily find a table before 6PM. We were greeted right away, service was prompt & friendly. Our group tried two types of appetizers, the fried calamari & kentucky style fried chicken. Both were delicious, fresh, left us wanting more. I found the portion was pretty small compared to the price, for $19 the calamari was just enough for 2 people, not meant to share with a whole table unless you only get 1 or 2 bites each. Our main meals were 3 different types of steak, one opted for a large rib eye, a new york strip & filet mignon, & one person had the salmon. We upgraded sides to the cheesy mashed potatoes & sweet potato fries. In all we were very impressed with the food, the flavor, cook & portions for the main meals were excellent. I wish all of their french fries had a thicker cut, the regular fries are kind of like shoestring versus the sweet potatoes are thick. This had a far better texture. Steaks were cooked to perfection & well seasoned - this was entirely different compared to our last experience at the Lucille's in Dix 30. The servers took time to refill our water & clean the tables in between meals, change our cultery too. I could tell there was a particular attention to us. I think it makes a huge difference when you are basically the only table in the restaurant at that time. This a great place to enjoy quality food if you like seafood or steak in particular - the atmosphere is modern, there's lots of place to sit both indoor or outdoors & the service was top notch. I would come back for a special occasion, I felt very satisfied with the whole experience.
First time visiting Lucille's as I'm not a huge seafood person. We were invited by great friends to celebrate their anniversary. I had the salmon my hubby had the steak. The food was excellent not to be outdone by our server Annie, fabulous. Will definitely be back.
Great place with a great selection of delicious food. Their seafood towel was amazing & everything tasted very fresh. As a main course, I had their maple glazed salmon & it was one of the best I've ever had! The service was very friendly all night long & the atmosphere was welcoming. I would definitely recommend & come back to this restaurant.
Strangely, it was not very busy for a Father's Day supper at 6pm. I was able to reserve a table for 4 just an hour before. Not a complaint to be able to get a table. Our waiter was good, the atmosphere was average, nothing spectacular. Perhaps we were early. Anyhow, we dined at Lucille's Tremblant & Lucille Laval many times. We felt both places were better than Fairview, even atmosphere wise. My kids both ordered the salmon tartare entree at 21$ each, which at the other locations, came with 1/2 boston lettuce. Here, there was none. I was going to ask but by the time the waiter pops over, my kids already finished the tartare. It was a small portion!!! The food, don't order the demi-snow crab appertizer. It was two tiny legs in a huge plate of ice for 27$ about. Not worth it. I had the steak frites for 35$ which I find it's good, but nothing spectacular to choose it over other places. We had to order the seafood linguini for the kids as they were still hungry. Overall, we spent ~250$ service included for a supper of 2 adults & two kids with two alcoholic drinks, a Shirley Temple & a Gingerale. Not a cheap meal. I should have gone to Kiku Monkland for sushi & probably have a better supper & experience for the same price.
We had a great experience at Lucille's. The food was high quality, the service was excellent & the atmosphere great as well. The oysters & hot crab dip were delicious. The steak & seafood for the most part was excellent. Out of the 4 meals, the only disappointing thing was the lobster roll (lobster was excellently cooked, but the roll lacked flavour). The Lucille's bloody Caesar's, which we've had before & we're delicious, were just not up to the same quality last night (watery). Overall a good experience.
Really pretty inside & overall a good experience. The $1 oysters were not my favorite but the seafood linguine was amazing!
This place made my day or my night I would say! Food was amazing, service was amazing & even my kids loved it! I would highly recommend this place for a gourmet seafood lover feast!
I recently enjoyed the surf & turf at Lucille's in Fairview Pointe-Claire, & it was a fantastic dining experience! The lobster roll was packed with fresh, succulent lobster, & the ribs were tender, falling right off the bone with a rich, smoky flavor. The combination of seafood & barbecue was divine, showcasing the kitchen's ability to balance complex flavors. The service was impeccable-attentive & efficient, making the dining experience smooth & enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a great place for a casual lunch or a special dinner. I highly recommend Lucille's to anyone in the Pointe-Claire area looking for a meal that's both delicious & memorable. It's definitely a place I look forward to visiting again!
So glad I finally tried this place!! Our reservation was at 10pm so we did have to eat fast. Me & my friends all started off with the crispy calamari. We absolutely loved it. For our mains, I got the smoked baby back ribs with an addition of grilled shrimp. I loved how saucy & juicy the ribs were. I do wish the shrimps had less of a burnt taste & more of a grilled taste though. Still amazing. My friend got the Steak-Frites cooked medium & it was delicious! My other friend got the seafood linguini pasta with an addition of lobster tail. She said without that addition, the pasta wouldn't have been as good. She said the sauce was also very spicy. But nevertheless, she still really enjoyed it.
It's like our friends were saying. "It's good... but way too pricey". It was our first time here & it was good. But the bill is way too high for what you get. The atmosphere is okay. More of an open concept place than an intimate dining place. The service is excellent. Everyone is very attentive. Cleaning your table. Replacing used napkins & topping off drinks or water. Would we go back- to be honest no unless it was someone's choice to go there. My husband really liked his seafood pasta dish. My steak was fine. I didn't prefer the sauce on the shrimp. I had the steak & prawns. My husband the seafood linguine. For starters we got the southern hot crab dip & $1 oysters. & for dessert the dark chocolate caramel dome.
The NY strips were mediocre at best. The calamari & fried chicken entrées weren't amazing. The only good thing was the linguini, so maybe seafood is their specialty. We had to create blinds out of our coats to stop the sun from blinding us. The service was impeccable & the waiters were very nice.
