Afficher toutitalian(18) pates(13) pepe(11) pasta(11) highly recommend(9) recommend(9) cacio(9) fresh(8) italien(8) quality(7) gnocchi(7) vin(6)Excellent all around. Simple & classic Italian dishes served with excellent service in a cozy atmosphere. Everything we ordered was excellent! Would highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe. My only complaint was the portions were quite small especially considering the higher price tag.
Probably the best restaurant in Montreal for Italian food. I don't think anybody does it better than these guys
The restaurant has a great atmosphere, & our food was delicious. I had the meatballs as an appetizer, & they're the best I've ever had. The service was also great. If you're looking for a great Italian spot in Montreal, you should definitely check it out!
Delicious!!!
Flavours are fresh & complex
True to Italian roots
Service so friendly & professional
Feels good afte
Fantastic Italian food. Incredibly talented chef. Great service. My favorite Italian restaurant in Montreal.
Luciano Trattoria never disappoints. We started with the carpaccio & the osso buco, both beautifully presented & full of rich, authentic flavor. For the main courses, the tagliatelle was perfectly al dente, & the milanesa was a comforting, well-executed classic. The real gem of the night? Emiliano. His wine recommendation, a 2019 Brunello di Montalcino, was spot on. Emiliano is a true professional: attentive, charming, & always makes us feel welcome. This place combines refined Italian cuisine with genuine warmth. A must in Montreal.
The best word for this food is exquisite. Lived in Rome for a year & this is the best gnocchi I have had since moving home. Been looking for this level of Italian food in Montreal since Cafe Via Dante closed. Yes, the price is high for the portions but I believe you get what you pay for. Every dish was a new pleasure to be savoured. Simple, high quality Italian food. Will definitely be back!
Went with my husband for the fifth time yesterday & every time we go our experience gets better. The food was d e l i c i o u s. Simple, but with quality ingredients, which is all about italian cuisine to me. We met the Chef for the first time, thank you Luciano. The staff was so attentive & pleasant, my husband was limping & the staff provided us with ice :) The wine was wonderful 100/10
Pass. This place was obnoxiously loud that it was impossible to carry a simple conversation, even had to repeat the order to the waiter. Service was rather slow to get orders going & to pay. Wine choice was agreeable to the meal; Whatever meal there was on the plate. The portion was the likes of an appetizer, & the price was incredibly high for absolutely no reason. This place felt nothing like an Italian place (yes they serve pasta, great), nor a "trattoria". Left incredibly disappointed by a "highly rated" restaurant, that just isn't. Save your money & ears, & go somewhere else.
This is easily one of the top Italian restos in Montreal - every dish is executed perfectly. The mushroom ravioli in sage butter was incredible & so was the veal ragu pasta. The caccio e pepe was also good but the other two stole the show. Even the complimentary bread was fantastic. Definitely pricey but that's the price to pay for perfectly cooked pasta with excellent service. Will definitely be back.
Everything I was looking for in an Italian restaurant. Food was great, prepared with care & attention to detail. The experience reminded me of when I was in Italy. Servers were very attentive as well.
Montreal's winter night, tables arrayed, In the Italian haven, warmth displayed. Chilled winds whisper, but hearts entwine, Families, friends, stories align. Plates hold delights, a feast unfolds, Parmesan snowflakes, joy that molds. In Montreal's night, love finds its place, A cozy refuge, in this Italian embrace.
If you are in the area & love Italian food, you should stop in here. Everything was excellent. Owners & staff were very nice & friendly. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
By far the best Italian restaurant in the city. Everything on the menu is to die for. The service is exceptional as well. Highly recommend for a date night or dinner with friends

This place is highly 'under-rated' we should be hearing more about it! The food is spectacular & you can taste the fresh ingredients used. It is a pleasure to sit at a place & have not one complaint about the quality of food. Authentic fine italian cuisine from a chill place in a nice neighbourhood. Nice terrasse In summer. Staff are pleasant. Hostess went beyond to call me back when there was a cancellation as it was booked up the first time I called.
