I had heard that the food was very good & hard to get reservations. I also heard it was pricey & the restaurant was small, loud & small portions being served. I had to see it for myself.
Every one of those comments were absolutely true!! How is it that any restaurant can charge $39 for a plate of pasta or $25 for a green salad( lettuce only) outrageous, completely unacceptable!!!! I felt robbed, no matter how good the food tasted it was not worth that price. Not a fancy place at all, on a residential street. Really -what does it cost a whole bag of pasta. Very little choices on the extremely small menu. I hope these reviews will help them realize you shouldn't feel good about overcharging people. Restaurants should take pride of what they are serving & preparing for their customers especially when most of them are locals, hard working & want good food for a fair price!!

Imagine being moved mid-meal because the waiter made a mistake. The food really wasn't that special, & the portions were tiny for pasta dishes.

Overrated is a good definition of that restaurant. You're better off getting the 5$ gnocchis on fairmount.

Une soirée vraiment mémorable dans ce restaurant sur la rue Saint-Zotique. L'ambiance est chaleureuse & on s'y sent tout de suite bien.

Nous avons été conquis par la simplicité & la fraîcheur des plats. Les boulettes de viande servies avec ces tranches de pain grillé étaient absolument délicieuses. Chaque bouchée était savoureuse.

Le service était impeccable du début à la fin. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter pour essayer le reste de la carte.

Nous y sommes allés récemment avec un couple d'amis. Pas mauvais mais sans plus .plat de pâtes (pepe) a 38$ portion très modérée & là déception fut le mozzarella tomate a 26$ avec des 3 tomates cerises coupées en 2 .. franchement .

Friendly but slow service, good if you're celebrating an occasion since you'll be left with a lot of time to chat. Food was good but portion was too small for its price, must get multiple appetizers if you want to share, maybe 2-3 appetizers for a group of 4.

Luciano is one of the best spots in Montreal. Amazing food, great atmosphere, & top-notch service from start to finish. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully prepared. You can tell they really care about the experience. Definitely a place I'll be going back to-highly recommend!
