Review Summary

LOV is widely celebrated as a standout vegetarian and vegan destination in Montreal, appreciated for its beautiful, cozy, and elegant atmosphere that suits both special occasions and casual gatherings. Most diners rave about the creative, flavor-forward dishes and the artistic presentation of the food, with popular favorites including the carbonara, truffle burger, ravioli, risotto, and roasted cauliflower. While the vast majority of guests praise the attentive and welcoming service, a few experiences noted inconsistent service speeds or occasional disappointments regarding portion sizes and flavor profiles. Overall, it is highly recommended as a top-tier plant-based experience that successfully converts even non-vegetarian diners, offering a refreshing and memorable culinary adventure.

Amazing Vegetarian restaurant with great variety, taste & ambiance.
The staff was amazing too. The server who took care of our table was so sweet & accommodating. I was pregnant so she took extra care of our food according to my needs.
We had the ravioli, LOV burger & dumplings. Loved them all.

LOVed the vegan burger & fries. ALMOST as good as Mcdonalds fries (when they're right out the batter).

The food was so delicious at Lov. & the service was excellent. We ordered the dumplings & calamari. The kids & my husband got the veggie burgers & fries & I ordered the'fish' tacos. The food was incredibly delicious & so filling. The service was incredible...they really took the time to explain the menu & provide us with vegan options. Would give 10 stars if I could. We will definitely be back as soon as we're in town! 100% recommend to everyone, vegan, vegetarian or not!

Le cadre est magnifique & les portions sont généreuses. Dommage que le service ait manqué d'attention : burger servi froid & pas d'eau proposée, alors que d'autres tables en ont reçu. L'expérience aurait pu être meilleur.

Stopped by LOV McGill during a recent trip to Montréal & was pleasantly surprised. I had the house-made vegan burger-not your typical Impossible or Beyond patty, which was a nice change. Flavorful, satisfying, & held together well. Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for a good plant-based burger.

Highly recommend going with the sweet potato fries over the regular ones-they're crispier & have way more flavor.

We liked it enough to come back a second time. I tried the fish taco (also vegan), & it was actually really good-great texture & seasoning, one of the standouts on the menu.

Overall, a great spot for anyone looking for a vegetarian or vegan-friendly meal in a stylish, casual setting. Worth a visit even if you're not strictly plant-based.

Definitely not a good meal unfortunately. Nice staff, nice atmosphere but the food was very sub par. Did not feel Local, Organic & not all vegan. Burgers were just plain beyond meat etc & the California bowl was so so salty with some rotten lettuce included :/. Was excited to try this but would encourage more fresh vegetables etc. & less pre packaged ingredients.

Thanks for enhancing my taste buds. Being a meat lover I tried a vegan classic cheese burger which tasted amazingly like og cheese burger. Hates off guys. At last I would like to give thanks to the server (forgot her name but she is tall & wear black specs) who gave good suggestions to try from the menu item & took care of each small detail of our requirements. Thank you so much. keep it up!!! Highly recommended for All Vegans. Good food & ambience. Must try dumplings, classic cheese burger, salmon tart.

Amazing food, great evening. The dumplings (starter) were so good, followed by a cheeze burger & phish tacos, completed by a lime cheezecake... even my carnivore husband was thrilled!
