Le restaurant L'Orignal a ouvert ses portes l'hiver 2008 afin d'accueillir touriste et montréalais. Dans un décor de chalet, nous vous emporterons loin de la ville tout en étant au coeur du Vieux-Montréal. Notre cuisine est constituée de repas campagnards avec une touche moderne. Possédant une variété de cocktails et une compilation de musique unique dans son genre, L'Orignal est beaucoup plus qu'un restaurant local.

Pour notre sortie père/fille nous avons été charmé par ce restaurant! Elisa nous a donner un EXCELLENT service, en plus de nous conseiller 2 excellents vin! Le seul point que mon père a moins aimer, c'est qu'il y avait beaucoup de gras sur le porc qu'il a commander.. Mais sinon, les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous de l'entrée au dessert 🤍 284$ pour 2 entrées, 2 repas, 2 cocktail, 2 verres de vin BIEN remplis, 2 dessert & 2 café (on roulais en sortant de la !)

Such an amazing experience, the food is good the wine list is amazing BUT the best thing about this place is the service. People are kind sweet polite & funny which makes the experience like as if you are at family gathering

Le steak & les huîtres étaient absolument délicieux & l'ambiance est très amicale, tranquille & agréable. Bonne service aussi. Beaucoup recommandé. 👌🏻

Honestly we were disappointed. A cosy restaurant & good service but the food was average & lacked imagination & flavour. We have been in Montreal for 7 days & eat out in good quality places every night so we have a baseline for above average food, sadly this was not in the above average group.

Sat at the bar & got chatting to the owner as he opened oysters. His attention to detail & quality was evident & is reflected in the excellent food & drink served here. I will be coming back.

Amazing restaurant in Montreal! The atmosphere is laid back & the food is simply delicious! All farm to table, the food was sooo good that I can't wait to go back to Montreal! I am dreaming of the shrimp in garlic butter! & the French fries with aioli-I can't take my mind off this food!

Warm atmosphere. Very pleasant service & attentive. Accommodating of English & friendly service, also delicious bison burger would recommend. Very good!

Visited with work colleagues & was very impressed. The service was first class. Didn't get the servers name but was a lovely lady that really coped well with 12 of us early Nov'23. Thank you for a great night. Food was amazing. I shared the steak which was excellent. The overall ambience of the place really made the evening.

Absolutely delightful place. Exceptional food, exceptional service, exceptional atmosphere. I'd go back in a heartbeat! The truffle poutine was special, the beef medialions were very tender, & the sticky toffee pudding was delish!

The owner Michael has one hell of an establishment a great guy with a big heart & an awesome staff definitely calling this place home when I come back to Montreal

We had a delicious dinner here at L’Orignal! Seating is a bit tight, but when we asked for a more private table, we were accommodated which showed great care for their customers. The service staff was excellent & the experience was levelled up even more by the delicious food. Very unique menu with new flavour profiles for us. Highly recommended!

I take all my business associates here when in town. They have been open for a long time & there's a damn good reason why. The food knocks it out of the park every time. The atmosphere is great. Lighting... decor smells... it's a hit that keeps on hitting. A definite must do on any trip to Montreal.
