Depuis sa création, Lola Rosa est le restaurant végétarien préféré des non-végétariens. Nous voulons vous prouver que manger sans viande c’est possible et c’est savoureux. Nous vous proposons donc des plats inspirés de notre maman ou de notre grand-maman. Un ragout, un curry, un chili, une tarte au tomate ou une lasagne sont entre autre au menu.
Dans un décor chaleureux, nous vous servons à la bonne franquette les meilleurs Nachos en ville. Pour les accompagner vous pouvez boire une de nos bières locale. Et enfin si tout cela ne vous suffit pas pour vous inspirer, ou si vous voulez trouver des idées pour vos prochains devoirs de philosophie, vous n’avez qu’à ouvrir les tiroirs de votre table.

We had a really nice experience at Lola Rosa - Place-des-Arts! The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, with friendly staff & quick service. It's a perfect spot for a casual meal in downtown Montreal, very close to Place-des-Arts metro.
We tried the Cajin burger, the nachos, & the poutine - everything was tasty & well presented. The nachos were loaded & perfect for sharing, & the burger was filling & had a unique flavor. The poutine was definitely a fun twist on a Quebec classic!
I'm giving 4 stars because I didn't realize it's more of a vegetarian/vegan-focused place - which is great for many, but I personally prefer more variety with meat options. Still, for a plant-based restaurant, it's very creative & flavorful!
Overall, a lovely place with great energy, generous portions, & a cool vibe. I would go back again, especially with vegetarian friends

Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Lola Rosa - Place-des-Arts ! L'ambiance était chaleureuse & accueillante, le personnel sympathique & le service rapide. C'est l'endroit idéal pour un repas décontracté au centre-ville de Montréal, tout près du métro Place-des-Arts.
Nous avons essayé le burger cajin, les nachos & la poutine : tout était savoureux & bien présenté. Les nachos étaient copieux & parfaits à partager, & le burger était nourrissant & avait une saveur unique. La poutine était vraiment une version amusante d'un classique québécois !
Je donne 4 étoiles, car je ne savais pas que c'était un restaurant plutôt végétarien/végétalien, ce qui est parfait pour beaucoup, mais je préfère personnellement plus de variété avec des options de viande. Malgré tout, pour un restaurant végétalien, c'est très créatif & savoureux !
En résumé, un endroit charmant avec une bonne énergie, des portions généreuses & une ambiance décontractée. J'y retournerais volontiers, surtout avec des amis végétariens.
I booked the private room on the top floor for a special family birthday celebration lunch, & the event could not have been more enjoyable, from the absolutely delicious food, to the large bright space with impressive view, & the very friendly & helpful staff. Special thanks to Éric for helping plan the event & menu, & to Arthur for taking such great care of us during the event! Our group included several generations & the adolescents were thrilled to have a foosball game & extra table to play cards & chat away from the adults after lunch. My husband & I will return soon as a couple & without doubt will book the private room again in the future for special events.
Lastly, if you're looking for some really tasty original vegan food, this is the place to go!

Lola Rosa is always a great place to visit. The food is delicious, so don't be scared of it being vegan! I've been to the one on Milton multiple times & always enjoyed my experience. Today, at Place des Arts, the service was great. They were very attentive & were very timely. I appreciated that a lot. The vibes were cozy as always, & I love reading some of the notes in the drawers. Can't wait to visit again!
Très bon restaurant végane & cadre très sympa. Le tartare de champignons, les lasagnes & la tarte au citron sont délicieux. Je retournerai à Lola Rosa avec grand plaisir!
Wir sind zwei Abende hintereinander gekommen: das Essen war sehr sehr gut. Solche veganen Restaurants haben wir in Deutschland nicht!!! Toller Service, nicht aufdringlich, einfach nur total nett. Wenn wir noch mal nach Montreal kommen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall noch mal ins Lola Rosa:)
If I could give 100 stars for service, I'd do so. I just left, after my second dinner there in less than 48 hours. &, I was tearing up. On Thursday--late--I was starving, & had to accommodate my weird gallbladder diet. I'd noticed Lola Rosa around the corner, & I'd already saved them during my pre-trip search. Rachel waited on me, & she was not only a simple delight, but she checked on things without hesitation & came back with kitchen--offered alternatives! I had Eggplant Bharta & the Rosa salad. So. Unbelievably. Delicious. & filling. The glass of scrummy orange wine didn't hurt. So, tonight, I tried to push myself to venture further afield. But, I was intrigued by the idea of the vegan burger, & kind of NEEDED something substantial. No Rachel, but Esme was also incredibly attentive, concerned, helpfully wary & OFFERED to keep the fries away from me. My belly is happy. But, more importantly, my soul is beyond rejuvenated by these folks. They are so simply, innately warm & kind & welcoming. They certainly present to love what they do. &, I don't think the ease with which they can gift their generosity of spirit can be faked. I cried because people don't necessarily know what's going on in a person's life. Natural, sincere, emotional embraces can go a long way. I've had a great few days in Montreal--the only misstep was the hotel--but Lola Rosa, man... my appreciation of how these folks are...well, it literally brought tears to my eyes. UPDATE: Was just back at my "local" & met the lovely Kathleen at the door, who treated me & my barely-conscious & skewed sense of time like she had nothing else on her plate! She seated me ages before my reservation, & I was served by her amazing sister, Rae-Lee! By the end of the evening, I was sitting at Esme's bar, when good ole Rachel happened to pop in! My belly, my heart. NO ONE gives them sustenance like this team! &, while I was sitting at the table, waiting for that so-damn-good veggie burger, I noticed the ENTIRE staff seem to really appreciate one another. A lovely thing to see! So, Lola Rosa is still da bomb-diggity & Kathleen needs to listen to Josh Ritter's song. Thanks, Lola Rosa, for consistently being absolute PERFECTION. Where else can your soul & heart get the same flawless refuel as your belly? So. Much. Love. UPDATE: approximately 54 weeks since my first visit...of the people I love--Rachel, Esme, Rae-Lee, all but Esme were present at my return! Just as warm, just as welcoming. I need to add that I met Antonio & Mathieu, this time. Had THREE homemade lemonades over the weekend. Cuz it's so good. & ANOTHER veggie burger. Next trip, I promise to try some specials. This staff doesn't get better, we just add more names of great servers/gorgeous humans to the list. The consistency of quality staff & shockingly delish food are undermined only by my satisfaction that the same great staff members are always there. Even the ones whose names I don't know yet. This level of employment consistency is one of my deciding factors when I choose to continue patronage. All of the people I've named have already been at Lola Rosa for a good chunk of time. & I'm impressed with one year plus! Well done.

We loved our experience at Lola Rosa. The quesadilla was excellent, especially the guacamole. My husband was very impressed with the Curry & we shared the vegetable soup. The service was extremely friendly & we are so glad we included this place for dinner during our few days on Montreal.
J'y suis allée deux fois accompagnée de gens omnivores & c'est ce qui fait la force de ce restaurant, la convivialité & l'expérience du partage. Après le théâtre par un dimanche pluvieux ou sous le chaud soleil des Francos. Quand la culture & le partage entre amis communient sous les cieux radieux de Lola Rosa. ❤️
Ma 5e fois environ. C'était un délice encore! J'ai pris le tofu braisé avec la sauce coriandre que j'ai adorés! Le whiskey sour était délicieux également. Les burgers de ma femme & ma belle-mère hallucinants. Nous avions le super spot au 2e avec la vue sur le Festival de Jazz sur le bord de la fenêtre 🙃 Super service & les prix ne sont pas exagérés. Pourquoi manger des animaux quand on a Lola Rosa?❤️🙃
Fred & Antonio were amazing!! Amazing customer service, & food! Came today for a birthday lunch with friends, & they went above & beyond our expectations! This place has an outdoor terasse & many tables insides! Fred helped us choose plates by providing recommendation. Very good! I'd recommend them & Lola Rosa! Highlight: Burger Cajun with chickpea fries

A true gem near Vieux Montreal. Oyster mushrooms are very popular in the vegetarian/vegan food ecosystem, & with that comes the expectation that restaurants prepare them well. Lola Rosa exceeded my expectations as the texture & chewiness of the mushrooms delighted every taste bud! My bartender Antonio seamlessly made me an amazing cocktail while also giving me in depth knowledge of Montreal as a whole. I'll definitely be back the next time my travels bring me to Quebec.
Perfect! Lola Rosa PDA ticks off every box, & I've got plenty of boxes lol. Gorgeous warm decor. Patient professional tasteful service. Mouthwatering taste. Unique cuisine. Commitment to compassion for the environment & animals not to mention human health. Ideal location for fun afterwards in downtown Montreal. Pretty much my favourite restaurant ever!👌

Depuis mon déménagement de Toronto presque 3 ans passés, Lola Rosa Place-des-Arts est vite devenu mon resto préféré à Montréal, encore meilleur que resto végane torontois Fresh. Vous devriez suivre l'exemple de Fresh & publier un livre de recettes.
Lola Rosa Place-des-Arts is a delightful spot with exceptional vegan cuisine. Every dish we tried was simply amazing, & we couldn't have been more pleased with both the food & drinks. A truly enjoyable dining experience!
It's the best spot in Montreal to go for lunch, at night & it is so close to the Place des Arts which is perfect for before a show. The service & food are great & I always have a wonderful time at Lola Rosa. Cheers !
