The best poutine ever! Everything is perfect. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly & the location is lovely. We highly recommend (even non vegans will love it)!!!
We stopped by Lola Rosa while visiting Montreal & had a great experience. The restaurant has a bright, welcoming atmosphere with lots of natural light, making it a really pleasant place to enjoy a meal.
Eric, the owner, personally served us, & you could immediately see his passion for what he's created. He took the time to explain the menu, chat with us, & made us feel very welcome. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, & he surprised her with a complimentary dessert, which was a really thoughtful touch & much appreciated.
The food was delicious. We shared a salad & the poutine, & both were excellent. The two drinks we ordered were also refreshing & perfect for a hot summer day.
Great food, great service, & genuine hospitality. If you're looking for a vegan restaurant in Montreal, I highly recommend giving Lola Rosa a try. A well-deserved 5 stars!
The servers were polite & welcoming & accommodating. They changed my reservation from 2:30 to 3 at the last minute because we didn't realize they still had a brunch only menu until 3 & we wanted something from the regular menu. We had the lasagnes with Ceasar salad, mushroom poutine & an iced matcha latte. The'cheese' on the poutine isn't squeaky like cheese curds, it's more of a sauce, but the taste is good. Great location near the Quartier Spectacles. All vegan restaurant, so you don't have to worry about dairy.
We were so happy to find a restaurant where we could get a good vegan meal. The food was delicious. Our waitress was so nice to talk to. The atmosphere is very hip & right next to the Theaters.
Very delicious take on Mexican food, & everything fully vegan. Not only that but they use a substitute for avocado. As someone allergic to avocado & dairy insensitive, it was a perfect restaurant. I can't say I missed having tacos without meat.
Also their brownie & vanilla ice cream dessert was astounding.
We organized a corporate dinner here, & it was fantastic! Eric was our main point of contact, & he was incredibly flexible, responsive, & easy to work with throughout the planning process.
The food was excellent-truly outstanding vegan cuisine that's delicious for everyone, not just vegans.
Highly recommend for both large corporate events & smaller group dinners!
Great option for vegan/vegetarian food. This new outlet at Place des Arts is bigger than the one near McGill, & much less cramped. We got the papaya salad & tacos asado. Both were well done.
