Review Summary

Lloyd offers a warm, elegant atmosphere and consistently strong service that make brunches, lunches and special celebrations feel effortless. The buffet and menu showcase a wide, high quality variety with fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation across seafood, beef, eggs, pastries, and desserts. Guests note the space is especially friendly for families and groups, with attentive staff who ensure every detail is looked after without being intrusive. While a few reviews mention price being on the higher side or occasional service lags during busy periods, the overall experience is described as delicious, well curated and well worth returning for.

Pretty ordinary
Waiter was condescending. Advised blonde lady in the front. Explicitly requested another waiter & no apologies not to make this more ackward. Waiter did not come up once but twice to the table. Excused himself by saying his french was not good. Nah, he was just a over the top personality who should be professional enough to tone down when time comes. Smoked salmon was disappointing. Roasted potatoes with tons of oil but lacking salt & appropriate seasoning. Pastries tasted not freshly made but received from elsewhere. I wanted to try your place for years. The 3 of us left upset & disappointed quite honestly.

Wonderful experience. The food was very tasty & they had a lot of options, like macarons, breakfast sandwich, Benedict eggs, beef ribs, potatoes, eggs, ham, smoked meat, fruits, guacamole with chips, fruit juice & pastries. The service was great. It's kind of expensive, but once in a while it's worth it.

We had reservations for Easter brunch at 11AM. Even though we had reservations, we still had to wait a good 15min before we were seated. The place is very cozy & there are tables of all sizes for groups of 2 to even 10 people if needed. For 89$, we has a great selection of meat, seafood, pastries, etc. Service was OK. The waiter served us coffee but never came back to check if we wanted more. I also found it odd that they served lobster & crab & not have any wet wipes around. Furthermore, they had tuna & salmon sashimi but with no soy sauce. Those are little things that would have been appreciated. In all, it was a nice experience.

Went at around 10am & order a la carte. An incredibly mediocre & cold eggs Benedict (the potatoes were nice at least). The server was friendly but service was slow. Overall, lacking & I'm unsure why this place is so popular. If you're easily impressed by a buffet of cold cuts & pastries this is the place for you. Save your money.

The Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch here has recently gone viral on social media, so it took a while to make a reservation. The price is very reasonable, C$45 per person. It's a bargain, considering the inflation in Canada these days. Very good food & delicious pastries. Highly recommended.

Fish was dry & vegetables were over cooked & had no flavor. They also leave their pastries exposed on the counter without any cover. Gross.

the sunday brunch had overall very tasty pastries & savoury foods, but i felt like there weren't many options to choose from, especially for the price you pay. since the fees for the buffet were quite pricey, i would've expected a bit more of a selection. though, the food was very delicious & perfect for a brunch, i particularly enjoyed the pastries they were serving that day.

Family of five ate here over Christmas Holiday in 2022. We enjoyed their absolutely spectacular brunch buffet WITH bottomless mimosas. I have never seen a better buffet in all my nearly 50 years. Astoundingly good. Fresh lobster. Oysters. Shrimp. Asian dumplings. Lamb. Ham. Roast beef. Beef Wellington. Charcuterie. Pastries. Desserts... ugh - still full.
