While a few reviews mention price being on the higher side or occasional service lags during busy periods, the overall experience is described as delicious, well curated and well worth returning for.
We whent for brunch today. Nice decor, nice ambiance, okay service unfortunately. The buffet is full of a lot of the same. Limited selection of actual brunch foods. If you are gluten free or dairy intolerant, which i had 2 of in my groupe, the pickings were very slim. The scrambled eggs are full of milk or cream. Tge benedicts are obviously full of butter. So no eggs. Fried chicken, smoked meat ( dry as hell) & overcooked bacon. I politely asked our server if he could ask the kitchen to fry us a few eggs. Simple request. I was told no, thats not an option. End of discussion. So i whent straight to the source. The nice guy who was managing the food on the buffet. Asked him the same request for some fried eggs.'Let me go ask the chef' was his answer. Came back promptly with a yes. Nice. The eggs showed up at our table 30 minutes later, as if someone was unhappy about the extra work. We were finished eating by then, having figured we were not getting the eggs. A for effort, E for efficiency. & then they tack on an automatic 15% tip for tables over 6. Our server barely did what a bussboy would normally do, & gotba 50$ tip from our table.
75$per person with tax & tip for a very mediocre selection & service. If it had not been for the buffet runner, this would have been a 1 star.
I have been in the food industry for a long time & would not suggest this brunch to friends.
Ce qui a fait notre expérience à cet endroit fut notre serveur Graziano ! Nous étions 4 pour célébrer l'anniversaire d'une amie. Le brunch est au dessus de la moyenne je dirais mais le decor est tres bien. De plus notre serveur Graziano etait formidable avec des jokes & tjrs tres serviable. Il a fait partie du 50 % de notre expérience. Nous y retournerons sûrement & nous demanderons à etre dans sa section.

Très déçu, payer le double pour voir trois huîtres se battrent en duel dans une mini chaloupe décorative avec pour seule mignonnette de la sauce soya. Tout le reste du buffet inchangé.
Dommage, de devoir déclasser le brunch du Lloyd. Il sera aisé de trouver mieux pour 95$ par personne.

C'était notre première visite pour le brunch du dimanche. C'était excellent, le décor est magnifique & notre serveur était d'une extrême gentillesse . Nous reviendrons c'est certain
Lloyd's restaurant: where the decor dazzles but the dishes disappoint. Picture-perfect mid-century design with Scandinavian flair - it's an Instagrammer's dream. But at $49 per person, your wallet might wake up screaming. Enter Graziano, our server & saving grace. This maestro of hospitality deserves a raise for his impeccable service. If only the kitchen staff could match his finesse. Speaking of the kitchen, Houston, we have a problem. The buffet seems to follow the "more is more" philosophy, but quantity doesn't equal quality. The meats were fattier than a sumo wrestler's diet plan. Not all was lost - the pastry station offered some sweet redemption, & the egg station provided a glimmer of hope. But for the price, one expects a culinary symphony, not a cacophony of mediocrity. In the end, Lloyd's scores a lukewarm 6/10. It's a feast for the eyes, but leaves the taste buds & wallet feeling a bit neglected. Until they up their game, maybe pack some sneaky bacon in your purse.
Des plats surprenants & une ambiance agréable ! J'ai énormément apprécié cet endroit par son décor élégant & ses plats, dont la soupe aux patates douces comme entrée & le strozzapreti comme plat principal. Certains plats ont des mises en scène ce qui rend l'expérience spécial. Le personnel est très professionnel & attentif aux demandes du client. Je vous suggère fortement de vérifier vos factures pour aucune mauvaise surprise ! Prévoyez un minimum de 90$ pour entrée + plat + dessert.
Bel endroit. Décor feutré & de bon goût. Bon service. La cuisine, par contre, y est décevante. Je devais demander du pain pour le foie gras (somme toute sec) & le burger était franchement fade (j'ai dû ajouter de la mayonnaise). Pour le prix, ça ne vaut pas le détour. Peut mieux faire.

Situé dans l'hôtel Marriott au centre-ville de Montréal, Lloyd est un bel endroit afin de déguster un brunch à volonté pour 45$. On adore la tranquillité, la décoration sobre & moderne du lieu & la grande sélection de choix dans le buffet.
Superbe ambiance & décor avec une table d'hôte intéressante lors des midis. Le travail de modernisation a été magnifiquement fait. Très agréable d'y aller pour les mercredis jazz avec un musicien présent & un rabais sur les Negroni. Le staff est très solide aussi. Bravo!
Went for the MTL à Table promotion that Lloyd is apart of. For 83$, everything was amazing! The portions of the food were much larger than expected, the four course meal really filled me up! Very impressed with the freshness of the food & the decor of the restaurant!
The Menu d’hôte at 80 CAD was a generous four courses featuring innovative combinations that did not fail to please. Geneviève was a kind & vivacious serveuse & the decor is also very pleasing.
