2026: came back here for drinks & the cocktails were great. Friendly service. Good vibes
2024: the Revolver was the best. The Tartan tasted like an Old Fashioned. The Black Cosmo & Sakura spritz were refreshing. Definitely enjoyed the grilled cheese but the charcuterie+cheese board was pretty disappointing, as the pita chips shouldn't have been there (they're meant for dips), the nuts & pickles could have been switched out for a third cheese, & the rillette needed salt. Focaccia was nice.
2019: Incomparable selection of whiskey, well located, pleasant service. Second time there & enjoyed both experiences.
Noël dernier, j'ai acheté des billets pour aller voir le une pièce de théâtre, qui, surprenament à des critiques exceptionnel, avec ma mère . La pièce était tellement bonne qu'à l'entracte, nous avons décidé de quitter les lieux. Nous étions déçu de notre soirée.
Ne voulant pas resté sur notre reste, nous avons décidé de monter la rue Saint-Denis afin de prendre une bière. Nous avons consulté quelques menus, qui, sans surprise, pour ce qu'ils étaient, était fort dispendieux.
Nous avons finalement opté pour l'île noire, que ma mère connaissait, pour l'avoir fréquenté il y a plusieurs années.
Après avoir interpellé la boss-girl, elle nous à informer que nous pouvions nous installer sur la terrasse.
Le menu était abordable.
Nous avons pris un entré de tapas à partager, moi, deux stouts, ma mère, une bière rousse.
Damien, notre serveur, mois a donné un excellent service, & fut très professionnel mais il n'a pas fermé la facture & c'est Gabriella qui a fini le service avec nous.
C'est donc avec un magnifique sourire qu'elle a finalisé notre table, & sincères, d'ailleurs, selon ses mots. Cette expérience, ce soir, nous à permis de conclure la soirée positivement, & c'est sur cette note que nous sommes rentrés.

On est tout d'abord allés s'asseoir au bar, on était de bonne humeur, le barman était bête & nous a dit avoir mal dormi « it is what it is », qui dit! On est allé s'asseoir dehors & a été servies par Gabriella! Une perle! Merci! Elle a rattrapé notre soirée! Wow!
