Still one of the top bistros in Montreal. Seasonal specials are always worth considering - but there are some classics on the menu. Love the cornichons - I bought a big jar to take home with me.View more

I was just walking by when this place caught my eye, & I couldn't resist checking it out. Inside, it was packed with people enjoying their food, & the vibe felt really inviting. They had an amazing wine list with choices from Canada & France. I went for the Risotto Crevette & Chorizo-wow, the flavors were out of this world! For dessert, I had the Crème Brûlée with coffee, & it honestly made me feel like I was in a 5-star restaurant. The staff was super friendly, & the guy handling the reservations & seating was incredible-he really made the experience special. I'm so glad I stopped in. What a great meal!View more

The food was okay, nothing special. The wine list is excellent. Unfortunately, they don't use appropriate glasses for serving the wine. I ordered a lovely red wine which was poured into port glasses. The service was efficient but lacked the personal touch that one would expect in a restaurant that is priced in this calibre. The place could use some sound dampening as well.View more

This was the first restaurant we went in Montreal (highly recommended by a friend) & it did not disappoint! The ambience is beautiful, friendly staff & the food is top quality. Great spot, felt like a refined diner. Food was really good, you get served bread & butter with pickles & mustard included in the service. Prices are for sure on the higher side but they reflect the quality of the dishes.View more

Traditional French restaurants with a more relaxing vibe . Had a great wine list with bottles starting at 60. We are from out of town & want ready to go home, because we also had a child & just wanted to go have something to drink . If your look for a great late night eat this is a fantastic place to go it opens untill 2am.View more

L'express truly lives up to its hype & praise. Pleasantly greeted at the door & with reservation i was seated in minutes. I had never eaten duck meat before & Gabriel assured me it would melt in my mouth & it did! I'm glad I took the recommendation. The Confit duck with its crispy skin & the potatoes was *chef's kiss! Finished the meal off with a Crème brûlée which was perfect. The service was great. The ambience is 💯. Made my last night in Montreal memorable :)View more

I had accidentally made our dinner reservation for the wrong date & instead of turning us away they were able to get us a table. All the staff were friendly & super sweet to both myself & my mother. All the food was delicious & I recommend getting their crem brule & their quail dish if you are there.View more

Mercredi dernier, comme à chaque visite à Montréal, nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant. Malheureusement, nous avons été déçus par la nourriture. Les portions ont considérablement diminué : mon conjoint a pris du foie de veau, mais il n'a reçu que deux petits morceaux trop cuits. Quant à moi, j'ai choisi le tartare de boeuf, qui était correct mais sans éclat. Il ne reste plus que l'atmosphère du restaurant qui vaille le détour, & encore. Lors de notre prochain séjour, nous opterons pour une nouvelle adresse. Vraiment déçus.View more
