The food was absolutely delicious! The sauce on the braised lamb was some of the best I ever had. Jean Francis was also a very good server! Definitely recommend.

J'y suis allé avec ma partenaire & sa famille car on se cherchait un petit restau français sympa à essayer. & ben... quelle surprise!
La nourriture ? Attendez-vous à de la nourriture bien préparée & goûteuse, de l'entrée au dessert. Nous avons particulièrement adoré le canard avec son accompagnement, un vrai régal.
Ce qui a aussi accentué notre expérience, c'était le formidable service que nous avons eu avec Joseph & son frère Jean-Francis. Super chaleureux & généreux, on voit qu'ils sont passionnés dans ce qu'ils font.

Je le recommande fortement!!

PS : Nous y sommes revenus le jour suivant pour y re-manger & profiter du happy hour. 20% sur le vin puis un Ricard à 3$ ? Waouw, le Ricard le moins cher que j'ai pu avoir à Montréal !

Excellent & Délicieux ! Ce resto est maintenant mon resto préféré à Montreal, nous avons reçu un service exceptionnel & personnalisé de la part de Josef qui, en plus des plats exquis, a rendu notre expérience inoubliable. Le menu, contient des plats emblématique comme le delicieux magret de canard (ma recommendation) & un mille-feuille de fois gras avec des éléments unique de la saison qui se complémentent à la perfection. Ceci accompagné de la belle présentation de chaque plat à fait de mon souper un plaisir visuel autant que gustatif. Je tiens à retourné ici lors de ma prochaine visite à Montreal & à toute personne considérant y passé je recommande ! Vous serez pas déçu!
Ps: si vous n'arrivez pas à réservé ou si google le montre comme fermé dans des heures où habituellement ils seraient ouvert appelez le resto pour confirmer !

Delicious! Very much recommended! Everything from the appetizer to the dessert had a special touch that made the dish uniquely delicious. We had the fois gras & the duck, both were made to perfection! The service & the owner was also friendly & passionate about what they do. Final bonus is that although it is no longer bring your own wine, they have a very reasonably priced wine menu so that you can enjoy it with your meal. Will be back for sure!

Une perle!

Les oiseaux de passage a été le seul restaurant à pouvoir nous accueillir en grand groupe un peu à la dernière minute. Nous avons eu un service exceptionnel, des plats raffinés à un prix très correct & une ambiance chaleureuse.

Great food, service & atmosphere! We ordered the tasting menu & we could tell how much effort went into every dish. The portion sizes were perfect. They were accommodating to one of our party members' dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with a family dinner here. The restaurant was very accommodating of our food issues, including providing gluten free meals. We felt like they took our food issues very seriously while providing us an excellent meal. We particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon, asparagus & feta salad & gazpacho appetizers, the lamb shank & guinea fowl mains, & all of the desserts! We will definitely return, & highly recommend Les Oiseaux to anyone with food allergies/sensitivities looking for a fine dining experience in Montreal.

My husband & I had a great time at Les Oiseaux de Passage. The food is creative fusion in our opinion, with interesting twists to the traditional French cuisine. We ordered the maple salmon, foie gras, mushroom risotto, lamb shank, guinea fowl, & crème brûlée. Every single dish was delightfully tasty & flavorful. The salmon was light & the bok choy gave it a balanced taste with other garnishes like tomatoes that balance the palate. The mushroom risotto is creamy & chewy. The lamb shank is so tender, & guinea fowl had the meat almost melting from the bones. The crème brûlée is not overpowering with sugar & the chocolate covered pear made a unique & rich combo. Service is superb as the owner is also the waiter & truly cares about customer experience. Ambiance is simple yet romantic, & the open kitchen makes the experience intimate & memorable. As foodies who are particular about culinary adventures, we can't recommend this place enough for the carefully curated & prepared cuisine, intimate ambiance & superb service.

Delicious food, amazing service, & wonderful & friendly chef! The food was prepared with much care & was exceptionally fresh. I really loved the curry bread that was offered when I went, & it was overall a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

First time ever coming into Montreal & came to the right place for French Cuisine. Arthur at the reception & as a waiter was very polite & helpful with translating the menu for me & my parents. Julian the chef was just phenomenal, was very generous & hit the taste buds right on point. Definitely recommend this place if you want to have fine dining in Montreal.

We visited Les Oiseaux back in June 2023 & we still think about it weekly so I'm taking a minute to write a review. If you're reading this & considering a visit, the focaccia bread alone is enough to drop whatever you're doing & get a table. It is without question the best piece of bread I've ever had. Everything from appetizers to entrees to dessert was incredible. We especially loved the entrees; I highly recommend the venison. We sat outside & brought a bottle of wine. We had perfect weather, our server was great & very attentive, & I can't think of a single complaint. If you have just one night in Montreal, eat here.

Bonjour, je refuse par principe de donner des annotations. Je souhaite cependant vous dire que j'ai apprécié votre restaurant, autant pour la qualité des plats que pour l'amabilité du service. Le décor chaleureux & l'ambiance feutrée ajoutent à la qualité de l'expérience. J'ai d'ailleurs recommandé votre restaurant à des amis & nous y revenons encemble le 17 février.

Quelle expérience magique! Un service hors pair, nourriture absolument délicieuse, décor chaleureux & petite musique de fond jazz. Tout un coup de coeur! C'est sûr que je vais y retourner. Petit trésor à découvrir, je recommande à 110%!

Wonderful! Only slight issue was the jazz was a little loud as our table was right under the speaker, otherwise a wonderful evening. Compliments to the chef! Highly recommended.

Le service était très convenable & courtois mais un peu inexpérimenté. Il fallait demander un peu & exprimer les besoins. Il y avait une offre de 3 desserts & la crème brûlée choisie n'a pu être servie car il manquait 1 ingrédients. Toutefois cela n'a nullement affecté l'ambiance no la qualité du repas
