Les oiseaux de passage a été le seul restaurant à pouvoir nous accueillir en grand groupe un peu à la dernière minute. Nous avons eu un service exceptionnel, des plats raffinés à un prix très correct & une ambiance chaleureuse.

The four of were excited to dine at Les Oiseaux based on the reviews & photos. We were terribly disappointed. We started with 3 appetizers. On a positive the asparagus was excellent & the green salad was lovely, the venison heart was bland & underwhelming. Two of us had the lamb shank which was served d on a glaze (for lack of a better word) that was so strong & salty, that it was inedible. The sides were bland & unimaginative, mashed potatoes & cooked carrots & not even a suggestion of a garnish. The Duck was also served with an overpowering glaze & the same side veg. The veal was average, the side a little more appealing, a medley of veg & something indiscernible. Dessert, the chocolate volcano was fine but the apple dessert was shockingly over powered by pepper. The waiter was pleasant but clearing of the plates & scraping them at the table side was unacceptable. We were reluctant to write this review as we believe it is under new ownership but felt that constructive criticism was warranted.
Très bon restaurant, le pain était excellent & fait maison à chaque matin. Le serveur nous a expliqué les plats & était présent comme il fallait.
Les plats étaient très bons & parfaitement exécutés en résumé un très bon restaurant!
Superbe soirée entre amis dans ce resto, une vraie petite perle du Plateau.
L'endroit a une entrée discrète, presque cachée, mais une fois à l'intérieur, c'est une belle surprise. On était un bon groupe avec deux enfants en bas âge, & ils nous ont accueillis avec le sourire, super accommodants.
La bouffe était vraiment excellente, une cuisine d'inspiration française avec une touche maison qui fait toute la différence. On sent que le chef est un vrai passionné, ça se goûte dans chaque plat !
Le service était au top, tout le monde a adoré, petits & grands. C'est clair qu'on a hâte d'y retourner !

Une superbe découverte ! Super soirée entre amis. Nous avons été traité comme des rois par le staff & le Chef lui-même. Equipe vraiment très sympatique & à l'écoute de leurs clients. Les plats sont surprenants de l'entrée au dessert & très gouteux. Il y a du talent ! En + les portions sont parfaites. On reviendra !
Rapport qualité prix moyen. Pas de menu table d'hôte comme nous le pensions. Repas bien cuisiné mais pas trés copieux (foie gras + jarret). C'est cela dit un apporte ton vin tres calme ce qui est agréable. Déco minimaliste.
Un autre restaurant oú on tente de nous imposer un pourboire de 18% ou plus, sans possibilité d'entrer un pourcentage de 15%. Je trouve ça vraiment effronté, surtout que le service n'était pas exceptionnel du tout.
