Delicious! Very much recommended! Everything from the appetizer to the dessert had a special touch that made the dish uniquely delicious. We had the fois gras & the duck, both were made to perfection! The service & the owner was also friendly & passionate about what they do. Final bonus is that although it is no longer bring your own wine, they have a very reasonably priced wine menu so that you can enjoy it with your meal. Will be back for sure!
Great elevated french bistro with lovely wine, beer, & spirit program. We were able to walk in on a Wednesday, got tremendous food with great service. All dishes were a delight - got the blue cheese toast, artichoke hearts, squab, & shrimp. The alcohol paired fantastically - the sour beers were delicious, as were the wines the server picked out for us, & we ended the meal with a great armagnac.
Loved the foie gras! They let you bring your own wine. Very good service.
We visited Les Oiseaux back in June 2023 & we still think about it weekly so I'm taking a minute to write a review. If you're reading this & considering a visit, the focaccia bread alone is enough to drop whatever you're doing & get a table. It is without question the best piece of bread I've ever had. Everything from appetizers to entrees to dessert was incredible. We especially loved the entrees; I highly recommend the venison. We sat outside & brought a bottle of wine. We had perfect weather, our server was great & very attentive, & I can't think of a single complaint. If you have just one night in Montreal, eat here.
For the price we pay per item i give it 2 stars. Just came from the resto . I ordered the lamb & it was flavorless & missing salt, A bit dry as well. Someone ordered a hen & it was too salty. We all agreed that it was not the best french food we ate or maybe it was a bad Day. We also ordered terrine as appetizer, it was a very very tiny portion for 19$. We felt ripped off. The place has amazing reviews so maybe it was a bad day !?!? Giving 3 stars for the service because we had to ask someone to open the bottle of wines after 20 minutes of sitting down. Also after serving the food they came to ask if everything is going well when there was bones left on the plates. A little bit too late. The staff was nice & friendly but I expected more since the resto wasn't even that busy.
les prix sont vraiment trop élevés comparés avec d'autres restaurants bring your own wine.
le service est très très gentil
We've been coming here since the restaurant was called La Colombe. The service is always pleasant & welcoming, & the food superior to most of the bring-your-own-wine places along Duluth. Highly recommended.
The food was spectacular, beautiful ambiance. Don't forget your wine!
Great outdoor dining space, well prepared meal, friendly staff
The mint cream soup was my favorite dish, distinct from other cream soups I've had
Remember to bring a bottle of wine, our bad for forgetting
C'etait une repas parfait (hope I got that right)
