It's on June 13, 1983 that the dream became reality: The Restaurant le Vieux Four de Laval, located in the small village of St-Vincent-de-Paul warmly welcomed a clientele which has since remained faithful.

Mr. Manago is from the Italian province of Reggio Calabria, more precisely the small town of Palmi. It's from here that he got his taste for wood oven pizza, fresh and natural produce, a tasty and refined cuisine, which he offers us at Le Vieux Four.

This Italian restaurant is a family affair: M. Manago has always been accompanied and supported by his wife and their four children. All of them have put their heart in it; the hopes of the family were great. The instant success of le Vieux Four beat all expectations. This restaurant today is an institution and is renowned for the quality of its food and hospitality that it receives. It is with pride and determination that Mari France Manago, surrounded by a strong team, took over this great adventure and hopes that this institution will remain an unforgettable destination for a very long time.

Souper avec mon conjoint & son père ce samedi 28 février. Réservation en ligne. Personne nous a aviser qu'il y avait un party avec DJ & musique & un groupe de 85 personnes! Très très bruyant! Ils nous avaient placés juste à côté des speakers! Nous étions pour partir & la gentille serveuse nous a trouver une place plus à l'avant du restaurant. Un peu moins bruyant mais quand même! Nous voulions passer une belle soirée & après notre repas, nous sommes partis rapidement sans prendre de café & déssert. La moindre des choses aurait été de nous prévenir du party lors de notre réservation! Les plats commandés était bien mais sans plus. Pas de pain avec mes pâtes. J'ai voulu demander à la serveuse mais le temps qu'elle revienne me voir j'avais presque fini mon plat. Bref, nous avons été très déçu de notre expérience qui nous a coûter 100$ à trois sans dessert & sans café. Le gérant aurait dû nous offrir un café ou un petit quelque chose pour le désagrément. Voilà!

Nous sommes allés au Vieux four pour notre party de Noël de job. Notre serveur se fâchait pour rien & insistait pour que certaines personnes mangent ou goûtent à certains plats. La nourriture n'était pas fameuse & ils ont manqué de saumon & de pâtes pour une personne. Le DJ heureusement a mis une bonne ambiance !

J'ai passé un très beau samedi soir. C'était une soirée DJ. Je comparerais l'ambiance à un party de bureau avec musique forte & lumières. Service courtois & attentionné.

Allo, je suis allée pour mon party de noël samedi le 28 nov Je REMERCIE DU FOND DU COEUR Jean-François qui as su remettre du bonheur à ma soirée & à notre serveur si attentionné dont j'ai oublié son nom. Passé un beau temps des fêtes. Merci

Nous adorons le vieux four, cela fait presque 20 ans que j'y vais (plus jeune & maintenant adulte) . La pizza au four a bois est excellente. Ils sont retirés la salade italienne avec fromage & jambon, ainsi que leur fameuse sauce italienne du menu. Quelle tristesse! Endroit propre & bien aménagé ! C'est chaleureux! Équipe superbe & la depuis le jour 1. Je recommande fortement: en couple, entre amis, en famille & pour un party !
